Extra's: The extras for the Reality Series are fairly standardized and this release was no exception. There were the usual trailers, biographies of the women, photogallery, production notes, host of different languages and subtitles, and a double sided DVD cover, all contained in one of Private's slim cases.

Audio/Video Quality: Wet 'N' Horny Bitches was presented in the standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame format although the five sex scenes were in a widescreen ratio of 1.78:1. One of these days, Private is going to convert to anamorphic widescreen on all their titles, not just the big names, and I'll be a lot happier with them when they do. Otherwise, the lighting was somewhat darker this time and that caused some issues with grain and color over saturation. The audio track I listened to was the English track that was in stereo but had little separation between the channels. It wasn't bad but nothing like some of the company's better efforts on DVD.

Body of Review: Private has long been willing to experiment with various styles in order to please the consumer of pornography. Whether it's their latest big budget feature or their lowest budget series, the company is always trying to provide something dependable in terms of the niche a DVD is designed for. One of their more interesting series is the Private Reality series that I had often liked a lot over the years. The general formula is to put five sex scenes with a couple of the Behind the Scenes features from their other titles, releasing it as a compilation of work from a number of directors. The latest volume I saw was Private Reality 26: Wet 'N' Horny Bitches, a show much like Volume 24 in terms of the action on display. The gals ranged from hot to "closing time cutey" and the action varied nearly as much. Without further ado, here's a look at the scenes by director, date of production, and cast:

Scene One: Prisoner of Money: D-Jalif: 10/2003: Laura, looking a lot like Sharon Kane in whorish makeup with bleached blonde hair, began the scene by masturbating and starting to shave herself before dominating a blindfolded Andrea. There was a lot of stylish music and visuals but there really wasn't enough time spent on the basics here as the two got it on in a dark, damp, tunnel. The sex was oral and vaginal only and fans of voyeurism may enjoy that they were watched by another guy (uncredited guy at that) while they screwed. On a sexual level, it didn't work for me although I'm looking forward to seeing a full length feature by the director since I think he displayed some potential in the scene.

Scene Two: Hardcore Sex Dream: D-Xavi Dominguez: 6/2003: Melissa and Jessica, playing a couple of bartenders in a bar that was closing for the night, had a fantasy scene with a drunken Andrea after giving him a striptease dance. The perspective was from his fantasy that they weren't kicking him out but were attracted to him and they screwed as the female DJ spun some tunes. There was anal taking place this time and the acrobatic gals did some interesting posturing as he boned them. I still didn't see any real chemistry between the performers but at least the mechanical sex was energetic in the scene.

Scene Three: Making of Coconut Holiday: D-Alessandro Del Mar: 2/2003: This was the Behind the Scenes feature for the listed title, one of the tropical features that Private has been making in the last few years. It looked interesting but the emphasis was on the cast and crew preparing for the scenes rather than the sex, limiting its stroke value for most consumers.

Scene Four: The Advertisement: D-Tom Herold: 8/2003: Angelica, a lean, older blonde, responding to an advertisement in a newspaper, had a scene with Mick (and some mannequins) that actually worked for me. They each gave the other some oral pleasure and she rode the fake penis nearly as well as his own; including some technical DP action (one real, the other fake). I thought the two shared some chemistry together and that made all the difference in the world for me.

Scene Five: Water Games: D-Anita Rinaldi: 6/2003: Suzy, Ditty, and Bruno, all played in an indoor pool at a resort to start the next scene. Once they were through goofing off, the gals began some lesbian action while he watched. He joined them once they were properly warmed up and this scene also had plenty to like about it. The audio track was primarily a guitar riff but the minimalist nature of the audio actually worked well with what took place (transcending the need for vocals in a manner that Private should shoot for more often). Both gals took anal but the best part of it was when they all were playfully enjoying the moment, not when they started following a list of sex acts needed for a scene.

Scene Six: Making of Wet Young Bitches: D-Gianfranco Romagnoli: 3/2003: I like watching the Behind the Scenes features offered by various companies, including Private's efforts, and this was no exception. This time, there was more sexual activity going on so I'm sure more of you will appreciate it as much as I did.

Scene Seven: Dinner For Three: D-Andrea Di Angelo: 12/2003: Victoria, a very attractive blonde (except for her teeth) wearing a red dress that showed off her sweet body, had a scene with Horst and JJ after they all had an intimate dinner. It was more slowly paced then the other scenes but I thought this worked rather well. Sexually, it went as far as having the now-standard DP after the oral and vaginal sex with my sole reservation being that she looked at the camera too often. This gave the scene a bit of a commercial feel to it (I want my performers enjoying the moment; not pretending, when engaged in their sexual antics). Otherwise, it was a pretty good scene.

Summary: While I enjoyed much of this release on a variety of levels, I'm going to stick with a rating of Rent It since the action was far from consistently hot and the cast often didn't appeal to me much. The amount of fuck for the buck was pretty high this time, nearly high enough to increase the rating I might add, but the BTS features were from movies released long ago and the scenes just didn't rate as well as most material from Private. Give it a look however since some of the cast was in fine form and you may become a fan.
