Audio/Video Quality: Most of the scenes were done in 1.85:1 or 1.78:1 widescreen color and looked great while others were done in the usual 1.33:1 full frame. I saw no artifacts or problems with the colors but the level or artistic direction and grain varied more than I prefer it to. The audio, at least for the English track, was pretty solid but keep in mind that some of the time dubbing was done. The vocals and music were all done reasonably well. The movie froze at 42:20 (minutes: seconds) for me repeatedly and a friend had problems too) so keep this in mind when watching it.

Body of Review: The Private Reality series is sort of like a video magazine where you get to watch a couple of "making of..." behind the scenes shoots for upcoming movies along with a healthy number of sex scenes filmed for the dvd itself. I liked Volume 19: Beds Of Sin when I saw it last month and the latest volume, Private Reality 20: Forbidden Games was fairly well done too. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by title, date of production, director and cast:

Scene One: The Fencing Master: D-Tom Herold: 4/2003: Janet, Nikita had a scene where they started off by learning fencing and soon decided to teach the instructor, George, a couple of lessons (on sexuality). It was shot in widescreen but had a soft focus and too much grain for my tastes. There was anal and ATM (ass to mouth), but the scene appeared to lack any chemistry, making it too mechanical to enjoy for me.

Scene Two: On Air: D-Xavi Dominguez: 2/2003: Dora, a hot looking blonde, Ramon, and Andrea had a scene that started in an editing bay of a small production company and quickly moved to the hallway. There was a little oral sex before she started taking them into her pussy and ass, culminating in a double penetration (DP) before she jerked them off into her mouth and on her chest. It was a hot little scene but I expected no less from the young cutie. It was also much clearer in terms of the picture, also shot in widescreen.

Scene Three: The Scottish Loveknot: D-Gazzman: 6/2002: This was a 12.5 minute long look at the behind the scenes of the movie. This footage was included in the deluxe version of the DVD but not the basic movie (which was the version I got to review, sadly enough). I really liked it and thought it would've added value to the feature (also shot in anamorphic widescreen).

Scene Four: Aces: D-Tom Herold: 4/2003: Tera, George, and Robert had a scene in a white room but it froze up in my DVD player at 42:20. Luckily, she wasn't the major beauty of the show and when I got to play part of the scene in a friend's player, it didn't look that great (it also froze in his player).

Scene Five: Photoset With Monika Sweetheart: D-Marc LeLong: 6/2002: Monika, Greg and Sebastian had a short scene outdoors with the attractive gal even taking anal with her oral. I wished it was much, much longer (the scene, not the guys) as she looked to be having a lot of fun with them.

Scene Six: The Making Of Body Shock: D-Gianfranco: 10/2002: This featurette was a little over five minutes in length and made the movie look interesting. The cast was hot and it looked like it'll be a good feature to enjoy.

Scene Seven: Air Shopping: D-Alessandro Del Mar: 4/2003: Jennifer and Titof (and Gabe Verde in a non-sex role) had a mini-movie where Titof flew Jennifer to a small field and the two had a sexual encounter. Her lean body and brunette hair accentuated her round ass and natural breasts, making me want to be in his shoes. They sucked and fucked as usual with him rubbing out a load onto her face and chest but she also licked and sucked him clear afterwards. This was a good scene.

Scene Eight: Angelica's Pop Art: D-Marc LeLong: 3/2003: Angelica, Ian, and Reda had a widescreen scene wear she started off in a fishnet outfit before the two guys started ripping her clothes off. The sex included oral, straight and a bit of anal (and a very short DP) before she took a load to her face. It wasn't the best here, by far, but it was okay to watch once.

Summary: I liked this volume of the series enough to rate it a Recommended, even though some scenes were a lot better than others. Most of them were shot in widescreen and the cast was generally very attractive so there was a lot to like. The two behind the scenes looks at other features also enhanced the value for me, especially since I liked one of them when I reviewed it last year. I just wish I knew why some Private features have been problematic in terms of the picture freezing on me.
