Extra's: The best extra was a 24.5 minute long scene between Jasmine Byrne and Ben English from Bottoms Up!. I thought they made a good pairing and while it had nothing to do with the lesbian theme of this release, it was a good scene worth watching. There was also a pretty fair 17.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature where the director (whoever he may be) spoke to the cast before their scenes. Foreign porn BTS features always seem so different than the domestic versions, especially when they lapse into their foreign tongues, but I liked it nonetheless. There was also a photogallery, some trailers, a true double sided DVD cover, and some spam.

Audio/Video Quality: She Licks Girls was presented in a widescreen anamorphic 1.85:1 ratio color presentation as shot by an unknown director (I credited the editor) for Hot Boxxx, a subsidiary of New Sensations. In all, the lighting was kind of low and the colors muted but I didn't see a whole lot of grain or video noise here even when some shadows popped up. The camera angles and composition of the shots wasn't always favorable to the cast but I thought the director did a workman-like job at capturing some of the gals but this was uneven throughout the show. The focus was decent too and I saw no compression artifacts to mar the otherwise fair picture. The 2.0 stereo English audio was about average with most of the cast remaining pretty quite except for the usual grunts and groans, but at least there wasn't a bunch of lame music interfering with the sex (just lots of annoying background noises).

Body of Review: Foreign lesbian porn is often a lot different than domestically made material on so many levels that I wonder if there's a cultural gap in need of understanding. I've watched scores of movies from Private and notice that most of the lesbian action is mechanical and cold; lacking some of the subtle clues we're used to in better porn made here. Today's review of She Licks Girls is an example of one such title, comparing less than favorably to either the generic Strap It On series or the far more extreme Evil Pink by Belladonna for Evil Angel. Still, the look of the gals was something that you'd have to see to believe given their visual appeal and here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and action if you're still interested:

Scene One: Bobbi Eden and Sylvia Saint, the two hotties on the front DVD cover, are pretty much legends in porn these days for their multitude of heated scenes of all types over the years. They had a Christmas flavored scene here complete with a decorated tree and matching outfits as they licked, rubbed and otherwise played with one another using tongues, toys, and fingers. I wish they said more to one another but the message was loud and clear that they enjoyed one another a whole lot in the scene, using all the skills in their sexual repertoire to help the home viewer get off too. They ended by rubbing their bodies together but there was also an extended section where they masturbated beside one another for fans to enjoy. While they didn't live up to their full potential, they were fun to watch and I can't deny that they likely made the front cover based solely on their looks and reputation rather than the quality of the scene here.

Scene Two: Eva and Nicoletta, a blonde and brunette couple, were up next as they played together in a pink polka dotted bedroom, wearing matching outfits as the background noises bugged the heck out of me. They seemed suitably talented at addressing the needs of other women while they licked and played together on the bed. Both were a cut above average in the looks department too although the mechanical nature of the sex led me to believe that they were "gay for pay" more than truly into the lesbian aspect of the movie. Still, as a lesbian myself, I could've taught them a thing or two about letting loose though the sexual actions here were limited more than the last scene. Licking, fingering and toy play were the generic acts and less discriminating folks will probably find plenty to enjoy here.

Scene Three: Mya Diamond and Julia were another couple of contrasting gals that managed to showcase very attractive figures and faces along with some decent lingerie in a more grown up bedroom (with a red theme). The two seemed more willing to seduce one another than the previous couples and that elevated the heat ratio more than a little, at least during the initial lesbian licking parts of the scene. The fact that they used large glass dildos during the masturbation sequence was kind of cool (they look better than the generic toys used in other scenes) but they still seemed to be a bit too standoffish for my preferences. I did think they got off though and that earned them some extra credit, even if they weren't the best looking gals of the cast.

Scene Four: Yulia and Eva were up next with the two coming across as nothing so much as a couple of strippers bedding down for some fun. They took their time going at one another with ample foreplay and breast work but also some kissing on their mouths that didn't invoke the "no lizard licking" policy I established years ago (when lesbian scenes use gals that flick tongues rather than actually kiss, they lose points). Still, they had fit bodies and managed to use them well enough as they went through the motions like most of the others, this time displaying a bit less potential for true heat but I could've stroked off to it in a pinch. I admit to liking the way they used the strap on dildo but still thought the lack of verbal communication hampered an otherwise average scene for me.

Scene Five: Judit and Anita were up last and had the very important role of trying to elevate the heat that some of their colleagues dropped the ball on. They seemed somewhat less in shape but well within the parameters of foreign hotties working the street corner and pulled into working a movie at the last minute; essentially qualifying for a place in my bed were they to visit Houston, TX in the near future (as long as they promised to earn their keep). They were slightly more oral than average, spending time on each hole (mouth, pussy and ass) as well as breasts and other erogenous spots. The toy play was minimal but they managed to convey a sense of arousal from time to time so I thought it was an okay scene with some replay value.

Summary: She Licks Girls will never really be considered the kind of lesbian porn that you'd write home about yet it had a nice selection of attractive gals, a fair amount of fuck for the buck, and extras worthy of a New Sensations DVD. The weakness of the release was mainly in the lack of true passion between the ladies and that meant that even the better scenes were more reliant on looks than heat so I'm going to rate it as a Skip It unless you want to see beautiful gals pretending to have fun for money on camera. Hot Boxxx has some solid titles out there but this wasn't one of them and the limitations of the action were just too overwhelming to compensate for with other areas of the production.
