Extra's: The best extra was the 8.5 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage. It wasn't really informative BTS extra I've seen but I liked it nonetheless. The other extras were the standardized trailers, photogallery, cast biographies, production notes, and variety of languages with subtitles for foreign viewers to enjoy. It came in a slim line case but was surprisingly lacking a double sided cover as most Private releases have had of late.

Audio/Video Quality: Private X-Treme 17: Anal Freedom was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that director Skeeter Kerkove shot it in. I've become a fan of his work for Metro but some of his other releases have been lacking. The composition of the shots here was solid, the colors accurate, and the lighting pretty good with minimal grain. I saw some compression artifacts and video noise but my overall impression of the DVD's visuals was favorable. I focused my listening efforts on the stereo English track which had some minor separation between the channels but not a lot of dynamic range. In all, it sounded very average to me.

Body of Review: Skeeter Kerkove is best known as the suitcase pimp of wife Bridgette Kerkove and a guy with limited communication skills online (he likes to bully those that disagree with him) but that is rapidly changing as he develops into one of the better gonzo anal directors found in the good old USA. He is also known as one of the few directors in porn to routinely yell "God bless" at almost everything in his worldview, knowing full well that he has it good (very good) these days. His latest release is a movie for Private, Private X-Treme 17: Anal Freedom, an anal themed set of scenes made for the large production company, allegedly at the awesome Kerkove homestead. While not his best work, fans of his style of direction and/or the cast will appreciate the lengthy movie for what it is. Here's a breakdown of scenes from the movie that might give you an idea of whether it'll you're your needs:

Scene One: Naudia Rio, the gal on the right side of the front DVD cover wearing a leopard print bathing suit, was up first, using Skeeter's trademarked formula of having her smoke a cigarette as she posed for the camera in a teasing fashion outdoors in the afternoon sun. Her all natural body will appeal to those of you liking skinny gals as did Talon, Buster Good, and Nick East; her scene partners. She initially slobbed their knobs before they took turns boning her pussy and ass in a variety of positions. The emphasis was on anal though so even the limited amount of DP didn't minimize that fact and it ended when she swallowed a few loads. I thought it was an energetic romp for the most part and had some replay value.

Scene Two: Melissa Lauren, the blonde on the left hand side of the front DVD cover in the metallic silver bathing suit, was up next. She didn't smoke a cigarette (thank goodness!) but she did tease the camera enough to give you an idea of what she was capable of. I've always been attracted to her blue eyes but she could stand to gain a couple pounds (though her ass was nice). Otto Bauer was her partner and he acted like his dirty talk actually mattered but it was her skill that I came to see and she didn't let me down. Her superior oral skills were surpassed only by the way she handled his moderate sized penis in her pussy and ass on the lawn chair with the scenery of the hills a very nice backdrop for the sex. Swallowing never looked so good. Yum!

Scene Three: Venus, the well known pornstress with dark hair and solid sexual skills, was up next by the pool outdoors. She was the gal on the center of the front DVD cover and my only problem with her is the stomach damage that was airbrushed away on the cover. I understand that giving birth does that to a gal and my biggest fuss about it would be that it could be compensated for by using corsets or better camera angles to minimize the exposure. Skeeter did a good job in most of the scene by recording her at her best and Mark Wood didn't seem to mind at all. The spanking, oral and anal sex (skipping vaginal) with ATM was among her best work of late and Skeeter should be commended for displaying her at her best.

Scene Four: Kat, an 18 year old Latina with an all natural body and braces, showed off her skinny body while Skeeter discussed her great attributes before Tommy Gun gave her a hot beef injection in the mouth. She also went straight to the anal sex and managed to prove that a gal can be a fuck toy with no energy and people will like it (not me though). She did ATM and accepted what he had to offer but there was no chemistry and precious little energy so the scene stunk for me.

Scene Five: Vanilla Skye, a 19 year old beauty with light brown hair and a winning smile with a sweet ass, was deprived of giving a tease sequence here in favor of Skeeter talking about her. I would've liked to see her prance around in skimpy lingerie but partner Benjamin Bratt didn't seem to want to wait for that. Her oral was more sultry than frantic and she admittedly looked good in action. She then rimmed him before the boning took place. Most of the action was anally themed here and she really didn't seem to be capable of enjoying it much but I liked the way she looked in the scene and figured she covered her bases well enough by just being there.

Scene Six: Sadie Jane, a tiny gal with an average look, and beauty Naudia Rio, with her DSLs (dick sucking lips), took care of each other and production assistant Bad Bob (Johnny Thrust), in a scene indoors on a couch by a fireplace. The action started off very slowly but all the bases were covered with a technical DP, ATM and PTM to go with the swallowing action. I thought the scene lacked a bit overall but at least both gals participated fully, not remaining content to sit on the sidelines as many other releases seem to show these days.

Summary: Private X-Treme 17: Anal Freedom was worth a rating of Rent It or better, depending on how much you like the cast this time. I thought there were a fair number of rough edges but the cast will have something for those who enjoy energetic performances by skilled and seasoned professionals as well as those who enjoy fresh young gals that were almost lying there taking whatever came their way. For now, I'll stick with Skeeter's better works but this had some minor replay value and Private might want to get him a bit more resources for his next outing with them.
