The Movie:

The seventh (and at the time of this writing, latest) entry in the ongoing series of Ninn Worx video releases featuring the hottest girls from their stable of beauties in erotic solo action, Soloerotica 7, just like the earlier releases, once again blends the artistic with the perverse and presents a fantastic compilation of short, erotic vignettes sure to impress anyone who even remotely appreciates… vaginas and watching what a pretty girl can do with hers!

The cast for the film? It's a little different from the last few, with the return of some familiar faces and a few newbies on board to show their stuff as well. All in all, it makes for a nice mix of solo poon play – here's who shows up for the fun: Jana Cova, Brittney Skye, Georgia Adair, Angel Cassidy, Michelle Michaels, Rita Faltoyano, Kelly Taylor, Nicolette, Justine Joli, Laura Capri, Katsumi, Zara Mars, Jodie Moore, Wanda Curtis, Sue Diamond, Jenaveve Joli, Sharon Haven, Shy Love, Anais, and last but not least, Dee.

Rather than do the traditional porn review and give you a scene by scene breakdown of how it all happens, I'm going to take a different approach (well, not that different, it's really the same approach I used for Soloerotica 5 and 6 but in all fairness, this is simply more of the same, just with different girls in different situations, so I can do this again and not feel guilty even in the least) and just cover some of the highlights to give you a feel for the movie, because let's face it, each of the twenty scenes involves a woman pleasuring herself and it would be dull to read what would essentially be the same scene description over and over again twenty times, and it would be just as dull to have to write it.

Some of the more interesting scenes play out in typically over the top Ninn Worx fashion. Katsumi, who has appeared in solo play in front of Ninn's camera before, sports a strange feathered black wig that gives her kind of a New Wave Hookers look that contrasts nicely with her exotic features. A man with angels wings strapped to his back watches her as she slowly strips her panties off and then takes off her top before getting down to the main event – the only thing she leaves on are the thigh high boots, and we're okay with that. No narrative structure at all, merely a series of set pieces, Soloerotica 7 is just as good, if not a little better, than the earlier entries – in short, it's top-notch stuff. Everything is lit with enough softness to really enhance the girls as they perform for the camera uninterrupted and the editing, the camera work, and the variations in sets, wardrobe and in the girls themselves gives this compilation a great deal of heat and as such, a great deal of replay value.

The DVD

Video:

While the image was obviously captured on video and not on film, the overall clarity of the picture is quite good thanks to a decent authoring job and some hard work on the part of the lighting technicians. Colors are quite bold, black levels remain strong, and except where altered intentionally for artistic reasons, skin tones look lifelike and natural. There are a few spots where some mpeg compression is obvious, as well as some mild edge enhancement, but these aren't serious problems and overall this movie looks good.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround mix comes through loud and clear. As mentioned earlier, there is no dialogue in this film, just some sex noises and background music, both of which are mixed properly and balanced in such a way as to perfectly combine both tracks into one tripped out dreamy and atmospheric soundscape.

Extras:

The two extra features on this DVD are an extensive still gallery of over one hundred and ten images, and a behind the scenes segment that clocks in at just under twenty-two minutes. This behind the scenes piece features not only some raw making of footage playing with simple background music overtop but also some interviews with a few of the girls involved in the video as well as some clips from this feature and a few other Ninn Worx productions as well. A lot of attention is paid to Katsumi and Brittney as they perform their scenes, but a few of the other girls show up in here as well and we get a sense of how relaxed the atmosphere was on set.

Final Thoughts:

Soloerotica 7 once again continues the tradition of excellence set by the earlier entries in the series as it deftly blends some intense eroticism with some artful cinematography and unorthodox settings and wardrobe. Highly recommended.
