Extra's: The best two extras were the bonus blowjob scenes given in POV style. Audio/Video Quality: Boob Bangers 4 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Jonni Darkko for distribution by Evil Angel. Having watched his works for several years now, I can safely say that he has been improving the quality of his work in regards to technical matters much of the time just as he has been getting better at displaying passion and heat in the scenes he shoots. This title was a great example of how stronger lighting could be used to dispense with the artistic crap and allow a clear view of the action. He did seem to spend some time enhancing the quality of the look of the ladies using camera angles that flattered then individually in their scenes instead of a cookie cutter approach as in the past. The editing was good too and it seemed to have as similar consistency to the last release by the director I watched this time being uncredited by possibly handled by Eddie Powell. The DVD had no compression artifacts or other flaws added in during the mastering process so it was a nice looking DVD too. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio wasn't as pleasing as the visuals since they typically started out with droning musical pieces and moved onto almost always quiet action sequences (albeit with lots of background noise in some scenes). I hate rap and thump heavy music in porn, especially when the vocals are weakened because of them, so this was once again an area needing some work in the future; just like Jonni's previous works (I know he's a DJ but this kind of thing works better for the tone deaf).

Body of Review: Jonni Darkko is what some folks like to call a gonzo visionary in that he likes the basic idea of the genre but tries to expand the specific borders as he makes much of his porn. One of the unique things he brings to porn scenes is his background in music, even though I have mixed feelings about the quality of it sometimes, a driving type of beat that can be most compelling when done right. His work at Evil Angel has given him a bit more flexibility these days to try new things, though he still manages to address consumer needs with shows like Boob Bangers 4, the breast focused sequel to Boob Bangers 3 that I enjoyed last year. The basic formula for the series is that the ladies tease the camera with an emphasis on their chest, move into masturbation, and then ride the cock of some meat puppet provided courtesy of the director. To me, that's a pretty solid way to handle such matters and while breast related titles are common these days, Jonni often offers something just different enough that you'll probably enjoy it a lot. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Amy Ried, a hotty now retired from porn and probably the best known lady of the cast, was up first to reaffirm the formula to be applied in the show.
