The Movie:

This latest girl on girl effort from Holly Vanderhyden doesn't stray too far from what made the first two Sapphic Liasons DVDs work, but it all works really well so if it ain't broke, why fix it? The women look hot, the production values are typically great and the sets and set pieces are interesting, erotic, and far classier than most modern porn tends to be. There is no plot to be concerned with, just five scenes of pretty girls getting down with each other.

Chapter 1 – Kinzie Kenner And Valerie Herrera: After these two lovelies strut and purr for the camera a bit it's time for them to get to know one another as only two gorgeous porno starlets can. They start by kissing and rubbing up against each other and as soon as this gets things hot enough they move on to some titty sucking before Kinzie spreads Valerie's legs and eats her out. The share oral duties a few times and give their fingers a good work out as well before they bust out a dildo. At this point they fuck each other with it until they've both been taken care of.

Chapter 2 – Amberline And Kelle Marie: These two girls don't waste as much time with the foreplay as the last two did (not that watching them turn one another on was a bad thing, mind you). They kiss a bit but it's obvious that they've got fucking on their minds from the get go once the cameras start rolling as before you know it they're finger fucking each other and nibbling on one another's clits and nipples. This leads to a nice sequence where Amberline fingers Kelle Marie pretty intensely before they go down on each other until they've both come.

Chapter 3 – Charlie Laine And Penny Flame: After a little of the required strutting for the camera, these two lovely ladies embrace and start things off with some kissing which soon leads way into some heavy petting. They play things up for the camera a fair bit as they start to suck on one another's breasts before Penny lies down and spreads for her playmate who uses her fingers and then her tongue on her pussy. From there Penny uses a dildo on Charlie who, after she's come, returns the favor for her.

Chapter 4 – Bella Star And Tanya James: Again, the scene starts with the girls playing things up for the viewer and strutting around to get the mood set just right before delving into the dirty deeds. Kissing leads to mutual nipple sucking and from there the fingers start to do the walking. After they've gotten each other sufficiently moistened where it counts they bust out a toy and use it on each other until they've both had their fill.

Chapter 5 – Bobbie Blair And Jordan Fleiss: The final scene doesn't deviate much from what came before it at all. Again we see the girls embrace each other and they seem to really enjoy taking their time with their task. Kissing leads to some finger fucking fun before they go down on each other. The oral gets a little more aggressive here than in the other scenes but just barely, and it's all done fairly tenderly and with more emphasis on erotic sex rather than a lot of the rougher stuff we see today.

Overall, if you dug the first two Sapphic Liason DVDs then the odds are pretty good that you'll get some enjoyment out of this one as well. Vanderhyden's nice, soft directorial style compliments the girls and their outfits very well and there's some obvious care put into the look of the feature, which helps. The sex is hot and if you're a fan of girl on girl action that doesn't necessarily need to be rough, you'll find this one a good choice.

Video:

Holly Vanderhyden has been doing this long enough that she knows how to make a porno film look good and Pure: Sapphic Liaisons 3 is no exception. Some of the colors are intentionally muted and flat looking but this is a stylistic choice and not a fault of the transfer. Print damage and video noise is not an issue on the 1.33.1 fullframe transfer and while there are some mild compression artifacts evident in some of the blacker areas, for the most part this movie looks quite good. The first part of each scene looks a little hazy, but this is obviously an artistic choice as it clears up soon enough – it gives each scene a sort of dream like/fantasy quality that works quite well in the context of what we're watching.

Sound:

The English Dolby Digital 2.0 Sound mix features no subs or alternate audio tracks but does come through the receiver clearly and without any problems. Bass response from the subwoofer is lively and active and the background music has just enough punch to it to liven up the sex scenes even more than they already are.

Extras:

In addition to the standard photo gallery (roughly eighty hardcore images of the girls from the shoot), there is also a behind the scenes featurette (just over eighteen-minutes in length) that doesn't really have any dialogue or narration but does contain some fun outtakes and nice footage of the girls off camera. In addition to the more candid/behind the scenes footage, however, there are some quality outtakes in here that add to the heat of the footage from the feature, including some more girl on girl love and concluding with some nice masturbation footage. The occasional talking head interview pops up but no one has anything of any real substance to add. It's a nice enough fluff piece but not a particularly in depth documentary if that's what you're after. The hardcore footage makes this worth watching, however.

Final Thoughts:

Pure: Sapphic Liaisons 3 puts Holly Vanderhyden back in the game. Each and every one of the girls in this release is gorgeous and the camera work, as soft as it is at times, does a fantastic job of capturing them and playing up to their more seductive qualities. The action is hot and consistent and the girls all look exceptionally good. Highly recommended.
