Extra's: Most people will appreciate the 5 bonus scenes, the first three starring Lanny Barby. I listed Lanny's scenes below for those interested with the appropriate links. I prefer unique content so the 11.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature was more interesting to me. It had a fair amount of sexual material but the highlight was plenty of behind the scenes footage with Lanny. There were also 2 photogalleries, a limited biography for Lanny Barby, a positions room, trailers for titles like The New Devil In Miss Jones, When Strangers Meet, Circus and Janine's Been Blackmaled; a double sided DVD cover, and some of the usual spam for phone sex and other Vivid products.

Audio/Video Quality: Nameless was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as original shot by director Paul Thomas for Vivid Entertainment. The lighting was almost always pleasing to the eye, limiting the grain and other visual issues I've had in the past with Vivid. I'm led to believe that they've been actively working on this and everything they've been doing has been appreciated in this regard. The composition of the shots was favorable in most of the scenes too, leading me to think more care than average was put into the movie. There were no compression artifacts and in all, I liked the visuals a lot. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo sounded like it was shot in monaural and the music had the only separation between the channels. There were times when the wind noise got in the way but this was part of the movie. Still, it was a step up from many past efforts and I thought it worthy of mentioning.

Body of Review: Lanny Barby, the sultry new contract gal at Vivid, has become a wet dream overnight in the porn world for good reason; she's beautiful, has few sexual limits, and exudes a kind of charisma often missing in performers these days. Her latest release by Paul Thomas is Nameless, another of his "social experiments" where the focus this time is putting two people together that haven't met in hopes of sparking some chemistry. I can't fault him for the idea (it's been done several times before by others) and the execution of the scenes was well handled so here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that there were some rough edges that actually added to the fun of the movie:

Scene One: Lanny Barby, dressed in black clothes that fit her very nicely, was up first with Talon in the game room by the pool table. After some small talk, she slowly teased him with her fine body for what seemed like forever (the first sexual contact they had came in at about 12 minutes into the show). This was a positive change for Paul because it allowed him to more readily explore the build up to the scene that he often discarded in favor of expedience. Sexually, she blew him, he went down on her and she took his dick in her pussy and ass before the pop shot to her chest but listing the positions and acts really wouldn't do the scene justice. Coming in at nearly a half hour long, the scene provided incredible stroke value for me and significant replay value too. Chemistry, passion, and energy permeated the scene from start to finish; at least initially proving the social experiment worth exploring.

Scene Two: Amber Peach, a cutie with light hair and an all natural body was up next with Tony T. as they got to know one another outside on an overcast day. She was young enough to still have some of her baby fat and silly demeanor that time seems to carve away at in most of us. Tony seemed ill at ease treating her like a human being so my initial hesitation at his presence eased up a bit when they moved over to the hot tub. She claimed that she liked being dominated and while her sexual skills weren't all that well defined; the oral and vaginal went fairly well. He pulled her hair and made with a little of his mouthy talk but nothing as offensive as he usually gets so it wasn't bad. Heck, she came off as the most natural performer of the movie most of her scene, adding to the replay value for anyone wanting a fresher approach. It ended in the mechanical facial manner porn seems to demand but I hope to see more of her in the future based solely on this scene.

Scene Three: Reina Leone, an attractive brunette with some pleasing junk in her trunk, and Trent Tesoro were up next as they explained their view on the experiment taking place. They were on the black leather couch and soon found themselves feeling each other up before they started having the same kind of porn sex you'd expect of them. In terms of playfulness and chemistry with one another, I think they came off very nicely and her general level of skill was highly comparable with his (making it a good match up). The sex was oral and vaginal only but as I've always said, you don't need anal or circus acts when the couple "clicks" as they did here. It ended when he rubbed out a load on her leg (beside her pussy) which was kind of different but I think it was a good scene.

Scene Four: Lanny Barby, hanging out in a home gym (much like mine in fact) in her black top and skirt, spent less time teasing her scene partner Kris Knight than she spent with Talon earlier but her tan contrasted nicely with his pale white skin and she was once again a dynamo of desire. Her oral was very well handled and he was no slacker either but the energetic ride she gave him was sweet indeed. While less interesting than her first scene in the movie, she still was in fine form and worth watching multiple times, with the scene ending as he popped on her abdomen.

Scene Five: Julie Robbins, A curvy gal next door with a southern drawl of an accent, was up last as she discussed her previous experience having sex on a trampoline. Her partner here was Jerry and her sloppy blowjob combined well with her limber and active vaginal sex to make this a decent scene too. While she may not have been as distinguished as Lanny or as fresh as Amber, I never got the impression that she was having anything less than a great time with him. Sadly, she passed away in a car accident a few months after this scene was made so this might've been her last good scene in porn. The pop shot was to her chest and I liked the lighting a lot.

Bonus Scene 1: Circus: Director-B. Skow: "Lanny Barby, the hotty on the front DVD cover and latest Vivid contract gal, was up next in a scene with Ben English. She wore the purple satin bikini as on the cover and she looked as good (if not better) than I've ever seen her in the past. Her firm ass, curvy figure and gorgeous face all combined to give her a look I wanted to know better so it was no wonder that when she started impaling her mouth on his shaft, the heat was evident. They did a 69 before getting truly into the oral on her part. There was so powerful titty fucking and I was sure she was trying to blow him to completion but he held out longer than I would have and was soon tearing into her pussy, and then ass, like he was on fire. Bonus Scene 2: Groupie: Director-B. Skow: "Lanny Barby, the latest (and loveliest) addition to the Vivid contract stable, was up next in a bathroom scene with Kurt Lockwood. She wore a purple satin top that fit her ample bosoms handily, some silk fishnet stockings, and a tiny PVC skirt that didn't last long. The pacing of the scene was a different than the others, perhaps to show the frantic nature of the type of sex they had. Visually, the camera took a voyeuristic view from low angles much of the time that worked well enough as long as her fishnets weren't on the screen (the pattern noise of the stockings was bad). She sucked him off after he warmed her cookie up a bit and they boned hot & heavy in her pussy before he rubbed out a load onto her face. I thought it was also a very well done scene with good replay value."

Bonus Scene 3: Circus: Director-B. Skow: "Lanny Barby, the hot young lead of the movie, was up once more as the lead character of the movie. Her partners were the mighty Evan Stone and muscular John Strong, as she came out in a simple black sequined bikini to show her skill wasn't centered on a costume so much as her internal heat generating capacity. The tease footage of her slowly jerking them off before blowing them was pretty tantalizing but the playfulness all three showed helped make the scene especially heated in my opinion. Evan went down on her so he got to tap that sweet pussy first with John waiting for some anal pummeling on her as she reversed her position. She looked great here and while it wasn't her most energetic scene, I again saw why she was picked to be a contract star for the company. She took a load to her face and one to her abdomen for those who care but I look forward to seeing more of her in the future."

Summary: Nameless was anything but faceless in terms of providing a set of solid scenes worth your time and semen. Lanny was as good as ever and the other gals all offered up solid performances with plenty of replay value. The sex wasn't the most hardcore I've seen of late but the freshness factor, combined with the fun factor, added some measure of value to the movie, rough edges and all. I doubt anyone alive will accuse me of being a shill for Paul Thomas but he provided one of his best sex-only shows here and in large part, I think his social experiment worked. I was also quite pleased that the bonus scenes included three of Lanny's previous scenes considering that her other works have bypassed her until now. With a solid amount of fuck for the buck, I decided to rate this one as Highly Recommended for fans of Lanny Barby as well as those wanting to see something a bit different from Vivid.
