Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.3:1 ratio full frame color. It didn't looked as clear as most Wicked Pictures features of the last few years with too much grain and not enough sharpness but still above average. The audio was presented with a choice of either Dolby Digital 5.1 or 2.0 English. Both sounded good but the 5.1 track didn't make best use of the rear channels.

Body of Review: Porn Star is a feature porno from Wicked Pictures that shows Julia Ann, super hotty, as a mainstream actress whose career is in decline. Determined to claw her way back to the top, she takes on a role of a ...well, porn star. The movie details her adventure on the set of a Brad Armstrong porn shoot, as she gets to know the cast and crew, some of them intimately, until she falls in love with one of the guys she meets. At the end, her role has opened new doors for her and the feature showcases a lot of talent having a good time. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Aria and Stormy, two lovely young gals with curves and talent, took on the multi-tattooed Barrett on the set of a porno shoot. The double BJ was fun and even though condoms are mandatory on Wicked Pictures movies, I still thought the threesome did a great job. Warm with chemistry.

Scene Two: Julia joined a scene with Nicole and Voodoo on an outdoor shoot. Nicole took anal and the whole scene was great for me. Whew!

Scene Three: Nicole gave Brad a blowjob in a trailer. Very energetic even though I would've preferred to see a full scene. Yum!

Scene Four: Julia, still looking tasty, took care of Amber on a couch. It started off pretty quickly with a technical DP to Amber but both of them had fun soon after. The scene was better than anything I saw Julia do as part of her Blondage pairing with Janine.

Scene Five: Lezley, another energetic and orally skilled lass, took on the massive Lee in a dark room, riding him like her life depended on it. Solid scene if not the hottest one here.

Scene Six: Julia, still a cutie, and Dillion, had a scene on a bed. While the action was mechanically sound, it just didn't work for me for some reason. I watched it a few times and I've always thought both of them do a great job but this time, they each fell a bit short.

Scene Seven: Asia, looking pretty warm, took on Jonathan on a couch. The scene wasn't bad with some warmth between them. Not as thrilling a ride as I'd hoped for here either (they're both talented performers) but I'll watch it again in the future. Like most of the scenes, oral and straight only.

Summary: It's funny that the movie has the same title as Porn Star and Porn Star, yet is completely different than either of them. The acting was well above average for a porno, the cast looked great, and the action was certainly among the warmer of Wicked's most recent releases. If you're looking for a solid, well made feature release with good sex, this will fit the bill quite nicely. If you're looking for condom free, circus act sex, look elsewhere. Good job and I rate it as Highly Recommended.
