Audio/Video Quality: As one might expect, the technical qualities were all over the place. Some of the original movies these scenes came from were 15 or so years old and the dvd mastering was not particularly well done.

Body of Review: Girls Only: Ginger Lynn, is another Vivid compilation which focuses on lesbian scenes. Many of the scenes also had Ginger in them but they were from her early days in porn rather than the later, and usually better crafted, VCA comeback movies she featured in. As I watched some of the scenes with fond memories, I remembered how much the times have changed in the porn world since most of them were released the first time. There were less tattoo's and more public hair and the women looked more like the girl next door than the heavily made up porn star look that's been in fashion for so long now. Rather than outline each of the features 14 scenes, suffice it to say that they tend to include a lot of dildo and vibrator usage along with lots of oral action. A bit of ass play was involved too but that wasn't the focus here.

Summary: If you are looking for some of Ginger's best lesbian scenes from the 80's, this may be a good choice for you as it has a number of them. If you want some meat in your diet, thinking veggie action is lame, you will want to pass this one up. I suggest it as a rental since true fans of Ginger will buy the complete movies themselves and lesbian action has been done better elsewhere but this one did have some merit on it's own. I'd have preferred to have only Ginger scenes and no generic extra's to allow for better dvd mastering but I'm not sure how much it would've helped given the age of the source material. In any case, it was fun to watch at least half the scenes.
