Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as it was shot by an uncredited director, probably Scott Taylor, for Digital Sin. Here's what I said about five years ago when I first reviewed it (I just spot checked it and agree with my limited, original assessment): "In a word, good. The video is clear and crisp though
the audio is sometimes too low for the performers. It's shot indoors so that
makes it easy for them. (if it had all been shot outdoors, I'd probably
assign it a slightly higher rating as natural light looks better)"

Body of Review: One of the problems with porn has long been that it is designed to get you off a few times and then be forgotten in the vast wasteland of discarded titles. With few exceptions, smut made in one month is destined to be sent to the back catalog bins once the sales start hitting the downslide, with the newer titles getting all the attention. In an effort to curtail this phenomenon, I started looking at some of my older DVDs, finding a lot to like in titles even I hadn't viewed in years (when I take a breather from new stuff, it's a hobby of mine to revisit such titles). Today's retro review is on The 4 Finger Club #8, a straightforward title from a series well liked by many of my friends back in the day. The object of the show was to pair off gals that liked gals and have lesbian scenes where each would end up with four (sometimes eight!) fingers in their pussy. Here's what I said so long ago: "The premise behind this series is to have women take four fingers of another woman into their pussy. The "rules" are that it has to be four fingers of one hand and they have to orgasm. The series is known for its all female action and an abundance of toys. This volume, like the others in the series, has five sex scenes with minimal interviews before the action starts. I like how the women are introduced both before the action as well as in the ending credits. The scenes include lesbian, toys, oral and fingering.

Scene One: Heaven Leigh and Lee take their time warming each other up. This seems to be the case in most of the scenes here which is a pleasant change from
other porn movies where it seems like everyone is paid by the minute. The scene was pretty warm.

Scene Two: Julianna Sterling and Cherry Lee have a scene together. Even though this couple was the least attractive on this DVD, they were pretty good looking. Their sex was warm.

Scene Three: Cassie and Jezebel have "heavy metal" sex. I say this because they both have multiple piercings on their body. I thought Cassie was really attractive with a great body and her friend was no slouch either. The sex was good-even though it sounded like a Geiger counter going off some of the time (their piercings against one another).

Scene Four: "Stormy Daniels, a very cute young woman, enjoyed Allysin Chaynes (her name is spelled differently elsewhere) with tongue and toys. I liked it although not as much as the last scene or the scene preceding it." It should be noted that this was one of the very first scenes with Stormy, who later set the world afire with her contract performances for Wicked Pictures. Seeing her again, so young and fresh, was a particular treat for me.

Scene Five: Jeanie Rivers and Tara had a hot time together. This was my favorite
scene of the DVD although Tara seemed a bit reserved at first. The two managed to top some class acts with the manner in which they tore into one another with their tongues and fingers.

Summary: The 4 Finger Club #8was one of those titles that had some fresh gals giving and getting some heated sex from one another. It wasn't perfect but I liked it enough to overlook the sometimes weary premise/formula used. Here's what I said around 4+ years ago: "I liked the technical qualities of 4 Finger
Club 6 a bit better than this one but I liked the women a bit better here. Sometimes it's tough to quantify why you like particular performers better but that's life. I admit that when I first saw this series, in the now lost review of volume 3, I thought that it was lousy. Other volumes were a mixed bag too but if volume 6 and 8 are this good, I may try and pick up more volumes in the future without hesitating. The women are attractive, have fun, and the technical values are solid. If you like all women action, you should consider getting one of the better volumes. If you aren't a porn collector, try renting this one first to see if it meets your needs. It has enough stroke material to keep you busy for a long time. Note to Digital Sin: Work on improving the extras and you'll make me
happier. I think the series is better now and it's good to see your stuff
heading in the right direction. Thanks!" I actually like it more now than I did back then but I respect my original thought that it was worth at least a Rent It or better so check it out.

This Don Houston "retro-review" was written long ago before the so-called Professor of Porn had much experience writing reviews. Since that time, he has found Digital Sin to have a lot of good releases and seen more porn than almost anyone reviewing on the internet.
