Audio/Video:

The video is presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. The quality is fairly decent; the picture has a noticeable blocky/grainy touch. There are slight color distortions, but not bad. Considering this was produced in 1998, the picture quality comparably to newer features is still pretty good. The audio is presented in stereo surround in English, German, French, Hungarian, and Spanish.

Body of Review:

In 1998 director Jim Powers produced the first in the Kelly the Coed series. This title did so remarkably well that successive titles were released. There are currently eleven installments in the Kelly the Coed series that star Allysin Chaynes as Kelly. Eventually a span off title was produced, Sindee the Campus Slut starring Aurora Snow. After eleven successive titles starred Aurora Snow in 12, Violet Blue in 13, Katie Morgan in 14, Crystal Ray in 15 and 16. However Allysin Chaynes returns as Kelly in the 17th installment of the series. Generally the Kelly the Coed series is about the daily life of a sex crazed college teenage girl Kelly and her friends. Well here's a brief overview of this feature's plot, which is followed by the scene by scene.

Plot of Kelly The Coed 4: Failing Grades
Kelly's been too much of a party girl lately. She's getting bad grades, so her mother and step-father come to pay her a visit at school. Meanwhile, the frat boys aren't doing well either, it takes the "special assistance" of Vivi Anne to really help them out! Some other underage girls get caught trying to score some alcohol, but they end up getting something else to slurp down. Little miss innocent Anne really works her way to become the teacher's pet. More or less, the plot is gone, people are just having sex.

After a late night of partying, JJ is passed out as usual. The bad news is he has a test and Vivi Anne needs to copy off him! Nothing seems to be waking him up, but then she has an idea. She'll unzip his pants and gives him a blow job, yes that should do the trick. Well it works, JJ is up (pun intended). Once really awake, JJ demands a bit more attention, so Vivi Anne rides him. The scene continues with more straight sex action and ends with a facial. This scene tended to be exciting, with quite a fantastic oral bit with some fairly good sex.

This was a fairly decent scene, the oral bit was very hot. However the rest of the action (sex) just seemed to dwindle downwards.

These two gals are looking to score a drink at the bar. Little do they know that the two dudes at the bar are on to them. Without proper identification and they threaten to call the police unless they girls give it up. The two girls submit and quickly get into action. The gals pair up with a guy and suck them off. Then the scene moves into straight sex. Regan being a little dirtier than Naughtia, takes it in the ass eventually. The scene ends with each of the girls taking a facial. I'll be honest, I don't really like either of these girls. I just don't find them that attractive, however they do give pretty good blow jobs. This small group sex scene was fairly hot. There were more than one very enjoyable moments.

Scene 4: Allysin Chaynes

Allysin is with her step daddy, played by Buck Adams. They've returned back to the house, but accidentally (or purposely) left mom, Nancy Vee there. So with the two alone, Buck loses control and gives into lust. Allysin feels the same way. So she gets down on her knees and does the dirty deed where she sucks off Buck. Being the loving step-father figure (role-playing of course) he goes down on her. Next they engage in straight sex. After that the scene ends with a facial. This was another good scene. Allysin had a very heated oral bit and the chemistry between her and Buck was fairly good. The sex was action packed, very delightful.

Scene 5: Nancy Vee

This is my favorite scene of this picture. It's really really hot. Nancy Vee is a fairly talented, perhaps now out of practice? In this scene she teams up with Joel Lawrence and some other dude. Nancy is lost in the frat house, where she finds herself in the bathroom. Nancy is surprised to find two young studs. She's shocked and apologizes, prepares to leave, but catches a harassing comment from Joel. Something about Nancy not being able to take on two frat guys. So Nancy shows them where Allysin got her skills. They open with a very slobbery, spit dripping oral bit. Afterwards there's quite a bit of sex where the two guys switch off between recieving oral and working her. Not to mention that the sex also goes from vaginal to anal and back again. After a thorough pounding, Nancy takes a double facial. This scene is simply great, it's one of the reasons to check out this title. Awesome oral and great sex.

Concluding Words:

Following in the wake of Kelly the Coed 3: Campus Life, a title I consider to be very good, this fourth installment seems to live up to the enjoyable content of the series. While the plot doesn't seem to be expanded upon very much at all, the events seemed to lead to some great sex. In this particular feature, the action was blessed by the talents of Nancy Vee and some other younger gals who didn't look all that great to me, but really knew what they were doing! This 4th installment is quite good and it's definately worth a recommendation. Fans of the series will fall in love with Kelly all over again.
