Extras: The best extra was the 24:18 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, the footage comprised of a series of post sex interviews with the cast. There was then a sex act menu, a photogallery, some trailers, spam and company information. Each of the interviews was different but allowed the cast and director put their scene in context as well as allow them to expound on various topics so don’t miss it.

Audio/Video Quality: Sisterly Love was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for Digital Sin under her well established Tabu Tales line. The solid lighting kept the flesh tones looking exceptional and the resolution of the scenes working best, few compression artifacts observed when watching the movie on the big screen television. The camera operators were Eddie Powell and Paul Woodcrest this time, both of them providing the needed visual elements to make the production work best. It was clear that a lot of work went into the movie and it looked really good, the editing by Gabrielle Anex and lighting helping a bunch. There was a company watermark in the lower right corner of the screen but it was very light and unobtrusive so few should complain. The aural components were well done too, the quality of the stereo English presentation combining clear vocals, appropriate ambient sounds, and a mixture of well handled musical pieces to work really well.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is a multi-award winning director that continues to evolve with her work at Digital Sin, one of her favorite series called “Tabu Tales”. Having enjoyed many of the scenes from the line myself and singing the praises of the resulting DVD’s, I look forward to seeing them whenever they come in for review, the latest this time being the previous release of Sisterly Love, a title found scratched last year only now buffed out to work. The series still focuses on sexual trysts that are socially unacceptable, this volume centering on step sisters enjoying some heated sexual moments together. Of particular interest to be this time was the inclusion of Allie Haze, Abigail Mac, and Ashlyn Molloy, the rest of the ladies appealing too. In general terms, the age appropriateness of the step relation trysts helped this one though the scenes lacked the edge the best in the series provides.

The back cover described the movie like this: “Convinced that her stepsister, Aubrey is a closeted lesbian, Sasha challenges her to a make-out session in the hopes of proving her suspicions correct. After Jessica teaches her stepsister the art of hand-to-hand combat, things get a little too physical between them. With Ashlyn away at college, Bree worries that their forbidden affair might not be the only thing on her stepsister's mind. Abigail realizes that a hidden attraction for her stepsister, Allie may be the reason why none of her relationships with men have worked out.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Ashlyn Molloy and Bree Daniels, a couple of redheaded hotties that actually looked like each other, were up first in a situation that started in bed but bounced around during a montage establishing them as step sisters with Ashlyn visiting from college to the adoring younger step sister Bree. They were in bed again and Bree asked Ashlyn to prove how much she loved her, the light caresses and kisses soon turning to titty play and gash gobbling. Ashlyn gave head first, Bree smiling as she moaned out of desire as her older step sibling rocked her neatly trimmed snatch. Bree then serviced Ashlyn with a modicum of enthusiasm and energy, the older gal’s hairier bush signifying her status from what I could see. Their mutual eye contact was solid and they seemed to genuinely like each other, some fingering and tribbing leading to face sitting and a playful 69 to end things. The company website described the scene like this: “With Ashlyn away at college, Bree worries that their forbidden affair might not be the only thing on her stepsister's mind.”

Scene Two: Allie Haze, the hotty featured on the right side of the front cover, and bigger boobed Abigail Mac, the gal on the left side of the cover, were up next as Allie gave Abigail some pointers on getting a guy wrapped around her finger. The sexual talk in the house led to Abigail kissing Allie under the premise that she was trying to get pointers of a physical kind, Allie bringing up the relationship angle though both smiled as though they wanted each other. The kissing was sensual and Abigail was soon kneeling between Allie’s legs to eat her out, their eye contact with each other well done as they moved from boob to pussy and pleasured each other back and forth with hand and mouth. It was a passionate romp that included more kissing and titty sucking, leaving the impression that they were into each other. The company website described the scene like this: “Abigail realizes that a hidden attraction for her step sister, Allie may be the reason why none of her relationships with men have worked out.”

Scene Three: Jessa Rhodes and Staci Carr, a couple of blonds with thin hard bodies, were up next as Jessa gave step sister some fighting lessons, the two working up a sweat as Jessa taught the smaller sibling a few moves, ending up in bed together kissing though that was not their original intent. Staci made the first move to turn the hand to hand combat lesson into a hand to gland frisky lesson, their tongues wrapped together as their hands explored each other in a slightly hesitant manner. Unlike some of the other scenes, they spent ample time on titty play and nipple sucking, both looking physically a lot alike. Their clothing came off piece by piece, a sense of anticipation building between the couple as they gave in to what they had wanted for some time. Jessa had the hairer cookie and got some lip service before she used a pink vibrator on Staci’s bald beaver, a clear toy used for penetration included as they continued taking turns on each other. As expected, it ended with more kissing with lingering caresses. Scene Four: Sasha Heart and Aubrey Star were up last as accusations flew regarding lesbianism, the denial leading to a test where a kiss would prove whether it was true or not. Needless to say, the kiss lingered for quite some time, warming both of them up to the possibilities they were unable to confront initially regarding a mutual attraction towards one another, the clothing slowly coming off as they pawed each other and moved from kissing to boob play and rug munching, some slightly awkward play giving the impression that their acting was either really good or they were able to convey the lesbian dynamic fairly better than others. While not a smoking hot scene, it was definitely warm most of the time, the ladies rubbing their boxes together on the couch before an ending kiss and the two cuddling. The company website described the scene like this: “Aubrey is a closeted lesbian, Sasha challenges her to a make-out session in the hopes of proving her suspicions correct.”

Summary: Sisterly Love by director Jacky St. James for Digital Sin had good casting in the scenes, upscale technical values, and four cute scripts going for it, the casts handling the dramatic material well enough to appreciate for fans of lesbian trysts. I know some out there prefer the brighter themes of Jacky’s Romance lines to the forbidden fruit aspects of Tabu Tales but the darker elements give more to work with and remain more interesting over time for some, enhancing replay value for many and strokability for others. This time, the series of vignettes earned a rating of Recommended courtesy of efforts in front and behind the camera, my favorite performer of the show being Allie Haze though all the ladies were physically appealing enough to provide some spank bank material. In short, I liked Sisterly Love as another very appealing release in the “Tabu Tales” line, Jacky and company tweaking the series to include lesbian work here, doing so quite well indeed.
