All Star Lesbians is a compilation DVD that features—you guessed it—a bunch of girl-on-girl scenes. Sounds like heaven, doesn't it? Well, the truth is, this collection isn't the wonderful disc that I hoped it would be. It just doesn't have the sensuality I wanted, and not nearly enough threesomes or 69 positions. Here's a breakdown, scene by scene.

Scene 1

This scene from All There Is stars April and Daisy Chain, and it's probably the best scene on the disc. It takes place in a large shower, and the two blondes appear to be really into it. They have a nice, playful quality, and they look terrific, all wet and all-nude. They exchange oral favors beneath the running water, and they do a lot of fondling. Very nice and hot. Grade: A-

This older scene from Morning Star stars Brittaney Starr and Chennin Blane. It takes place in a bedroom as another woman watches, and it's pretty energetic, but in the end, it's a bit flat. There are toys involved. Grade: B

From Perfect Couple, this scene stars Jewell Marceau and Nikita Denise. These two brunettes get it on with toys and tongues while a dude watches as if they're on TV. They're in a bathtub, and there's some anal play with what appears to be a silver bowling pin. Yowch. I like my lesbian sex a bit more sensual, and this was just a little too hard-edged. Okay, so I'm a softy. Grade: C

This scene from Upper Class stars two beauties: Briana Banks and Candler. We get right to business with some asshole-licking, then proceed into some nice cunny-lapping and dildo play. Not a bad scene, but again, not sensual enough for my tastes. Grade: B-

This scene from Zoom stars Raylene and Barett Moore and takes place outdoors. The women have a nice passionate feel as they writhe around in their bikinis. And we get our first 69 of the disc—about time! There's a voyeuristic quality to this one that adds a nice touch. Grade: B+

This scene from Free Janine stars Janine and Inari Vachs, and it's another strong scene. Janine always gives good, energetic lesbian scenes, and this one's no exception. This takes place on a table in a home and is warmly lit. Unfortunately, Inari sports some serious razor burn. Anal and vaginal toy play occurs. Grade: B+

This scene is from Hot Spot and stars Dasha and Nikita Denise. It's a parody of Coyote Ugly, in which the women get naked atop the bar and dance around, then start groping and fingering and licking. There's some fun dildo play involving beer. Not bad. Grade: B+

This scene from Open All Night stars Renee La Rue and Shelbee Myne. It features a couple of nurses getting all hot in a hospital room. They're all playful and giggly. This scene is great until they bring in the strap-on dongs, which destroy the fun! Grade: B-

This scene from Now or Never stars Holly Hollywood and Tanya Danielle. The two women go to town atop a bed while a couple watches. There's the usual oral pleasuring, and then a giant red dildo is introduced. Kinda boring. Grade: C+

This scene from Perfection stars April, Faith Adams, and Sunrise Adams. It's the first true threesome on the disc, and it involves a lot of body paint. Soon the girls are delving into each other with wild abandon, and the result is pretty hot. Some neon dildos are used, and the girls really seem to get into it. Good stuff! Grade: A-

The image is 1.33:1 shot-on-video, throughout, and the quality varies depending on the scene. Some are older and softer, with washed-out colors, and others look downright sharp, with great detail and warm colors. In general, though, this image is a bit below average. The sound presentation is also what you'd expect—nothing special, but nothing distracting, either.

EXTRAS

The first extra on the disc is Behind the Scenes of Hot Spot, a 17-minute look at the making of that film. This is a typical porn featurette, full of self-conscious posturing and goofy laughs and vapid interviews—interspersed with scenes of fucking as crew members look on.

In the Bonus Room, you gets three additional scenes. The first is from Bankable and stars Kylie Ireland, Lola, and Wendy Devine, and it's as good or better than anything in the main feature, but it ends abruptly. Next is a scene from Chasin' Pin 2 that stars Bree Ann, Jesica Darlin', and Katie Gold and is even better! Nice playful quality to this one. Finally, we get a scene from Femme that stars Felecia, Katie Gold, and Randi Rage. And damn if it isn't another great threesome!
