Extras: The extras were provided on a second disc, the extra large slip cover providing an extended version of the case’s cover though nothing else. There were some trailers, a photogallery, a pop shot reel, and a 38:45 minute long Behind the Scenes feature starting off with Danny being fitted for his wig and others in makeup before the fight choreography, Evan’s beard fitting reminding me of a cheap department store Santa Claus but little of consequence overall.

Audio/Video Quality: Thor XXX was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jordan Septo for Exquisite under their Extreme Comixxx label. The camera work by Paul Woodcrest and Alex Ladd combined with the editing by Septo himself and makeup by Lisa Sloane helped make this a decent outing on technical merits. Lea Lexis was credited with being in charge of the costumes and Tim Weske was the fighting coordinator, the special effects by “Mr. X” providing a touch of the movie magic one might expect of the genre. In all, the scale of the production was on the small side, the pornification of such a grand mainstream project necessarily requiring the proper mindset to enjoy it for what it was instead of what might have been. The sex scenes looked okay with enough lighting and camera angles, the feature elements on the skimpy side as a reinvention of the popular movie from last year. The aural components were well blended in terms of the vocals and music but hardly earth shatteringly solid, admittedly what I expected it would be.

Body of Review: Jordan Septo has been one of my favorite gonzo directors over the years because of his works at Exquisite. He has now stepped into the realm of porn parodies, his tales following along the basic lines of mainstream projects but introducing sexual elements into them. I enjoyed his last flick and looked forward to seeing an even bigger scale title with Thor XXX: An Extreme Comixxx Parody, the mainstream blockbuster detailing the updated origins of a godly being with incredible powers dealing with sibling rivalry and a father expecting too much. Rather than outline everything that happened on the feature side, suffice it to say that instead of being a warmonger prince endangering the realm of glorious Asgard, this version showed Thor to be a skirt chasing bonehead who needed to learn humility in a different way to regain all he lost. As someone that has read the various comic books from the 60’s through the late 80’s (admittedly not lately), I found the story and characters to rub me the wrong way in almost every case though the primary reason anyone would pick this up, the sex, was as good as Septo’s gonzo outings I have sung the praises about so often. With Alexis Texas, Lexi Belle, and Andy San Dimas in key roles, there was a decent amount of strokable material though so don’t go away just yet. The back cover stated it like this: “A God must fall before a hero may rise -- thus is the epic tale of Thor XXX: An Extreme Comixxx parody. "Equipped with his mighty hammer in one hand and his meaty shaft in the other, Thor is a spoiled prince sleeping with every maiden in the realm of Asgard. When Thor goes too far and upsets the balance of peach in the universe, his father, King Odin banishes him to Earth. Though stripped of his power, Thor realizes he still has what it takes to please the women of Earth, like sexy scientist Jane. When Thor's mischievous brother, Loki threatens to take control of Asgard, the God of Thunder must find strength in his new humanity in order to save everything he loves and become the ruler and lover he is destined to be.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Andy San Dimas, a fetching young brunette wearing a red satin and white band outfit, was up first in the bed chambers of Danny “Thor” Mountain, her character as warrior Sif being well known to comic book lovers. I could outline the problems in fanboy fashion as to how Sif (Andy San Dimas) would sooner slice her throat than fuck Loki (Seth Gamble) or how Heimdall would never abandon his post for a piece of tail (admittedly, Lea Lexis does have charms) but the casting of someone like Danny Mountain in the lead or Evan Stone as Odin?!? Anyway, I like the genre and I’m very forgiving at the necessary budget considerations needed to make such a show, the sexual elements enough to boost the rating up to a Recommended though don’t expect blockbuster status given the varied limitations. In short, Thor XXX: An Extreme Comixxx Parody might not cause concern over at Marvel due to the manner in which the characters were so far off their mark but the sexual exploits of the ladies proved to earn some nods for the raincoaters that will zip through the fast forward fodder even if it were exceptional so give it a look.
