Extras: Of interest were two solo scenes, very brief solo scenes, starring Ash Hollywood (3:42 minutes of extra tease) and Lily LaBeau (3:29 minutes of tease footage). While I would not honestly label them as true “bonus scenes”, they were appealing however short. There was also a 22:17 minute long Behind the Scenes feature where the cast and crew all prepared for the scenes (Van talking a bunch and Nicole DD handling makeup again). There was a photogallery, and a helpful cast list as well, all of the extras located on the second disc.

Audio/Video Quality: Meow 2 was presented in an anamorphic widescreen color with an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by director Jenna Haze for Jules Jordan Video. Van Styles worked the camera and handled the majority of technical matters, Jenna presumably infusing her own ideas with his expertise for this latest effort that was pleasing sexually. The technical matters such as lighting, editing, and camera composition were on the stylish side as often as not, not my favorite approach but certainly interesting visually at times. The video bitrate came in around the 5.1 Mbps rate most of the time I spot checked it, the sheer quantity of footage making up for times when the material was a bit artistically saturated. The composition of the shots was such that the women were made to look as good as ever but this was a great cast of top talents, sadly excluding Jenna Haze herself. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English (192 Kbps bitrate with a 48 kHz sampling rate) but there was no separation between the channels and the vocals were on the low side in all but a few circumstances. Still, I could hear all the vocals and moaning needed to enhance the visual experience.

The strokability, replay value, and quality of the lesbian trysts was enough in most cases to last for quite some time, the lack of splooge, spunk, population pudding, and/or genetic juice no hindrance to appreciation in making this well worth a rating of Recommended or better. In short, Meow 2: Special Edition, was everything a fan of modern lipstick lesbianism could hope it to be, my biggest concern being the complete lack of new Jenna Haze scenes since her previous efforts have always managed to provide something along those lines. Still, the technical qualities and the amount of heated material here made this a winner by any reasonable standard so check it out if you enjoy watching ladies do other ladies.
