The Movie:

The Best Of Big Butts 5 is, as the title implies, a rock solid compilation of scenes featuring lovely ladies with a little bit of derriere to spare. As some wise men once sang, the bigger the cushion the better the pushin’ and we all know that fat bottom girls make the rockin’ world go round, so it makes perfect sense that horndogs the world over would go for such a collection of scenes, particularly when it’s got A(ss) list talent like this one does. There’s no plot to speak of nor is there really much in the way of set up to review – just pretty girls with beautiful big asses getting plowed left and right. Here’s a look at how that all works out:

Chapter 1 – JR Carrington: The blondes are up first and JR kicks the door down in her scene that starts off with a prologue where she and her ‘man de jour’ buy some lingerie for her. This film looks like it was shot on video and sadly, parts of it are a little over lit. While the clarity is ok on this 1.78.1 non-anaorphic (ouch) widescreen presentation when the lights are up and at a distance, like a lot of modern porno there are some scenes where once the penetration starts things get a bit too washed out, making things a little tricky to make out. Other than that, this looks ok, but this is an issue at times and needs to be mentioned. Aside from that, this is an average looking disc, not much better or worse than the thousands of other titles out there on the market. The transfer isn’t properly flagged for progressive scan playback, so expect some sawtooth artifacts if your setup is configured for that.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 was shot in English and that's how it hits DVD. The dialogue that opens each of the five scenes is pretty clear, and there aren't any problems with hiss or distortion. Once the fucking starts there isn't much said but the few times that dialogue is exchanged there weren't any problems understanding what was said.

Extras:

Aside from chapter selection and a small still gallery, this disc contains absolutely no extra features whatsoever. No bonus scenes, no trailers – nada, zip, zilch.

Final Thoughts:

The Best Of Big Butts Volume 5 is a really good collection of reasonably ass-centric material. You get the impression it was put together as an afterthought but it really doesn’t matter so much. The presentation is unremarkable and the extras pretty much non-existent, but you get four really strong scenes and one average one – on top of that, yeah, Bobbi Starr and Alexis Texas, on the same disc. Recommended. You knew it would be.
