Audio/Video Quality: Ass Parade 17 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Preston Parker for Bang Bros on their website, and then on this DVD in the standard definition MPEG-2 codec. One of the trademark issues the scenes shot for this series have are that the technical values always seem on the low side, as if consumers of the website will shrug off any problems as being "good enough" for porn, but the occasional POV nature of the effort was handled fairly well. The lighting tended to be whatever ambient light was available, resulting in grain, shadows, and video noise as frequent visitors to the scenes released by the company. This impacts the accuracy of the fleshtones and can be an issue if you care as much about the technical aspects of your porn as I do. That said, the five scenes here varied more than a little bit in terms of picture quality but the general quality wasn't as bad as some of the company's previous works, skating by on the energy factor provided by the performers, most of whom are established professionals (not the amateurs others claim highlight the series). The composition of the shots and the editing all served to provide a mixed bag too but this time showing some extra care given by the editor that made it more enjoyable. Still, it was better than a lot of his earlier work and the ladies had fun so I was largely forgiving of the mistakes observed; the bitrate hovering in the mid 3 Mbps area most of the time. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English in 192 Kbps, with the vocals on the really low end at times but not covered by droning music except for the very beginning of the scenes and some wind noise in the best two scenes bugged me.

Body of Review: Preston Parker has become one of the main directors at Bang Bros in recent times, the internet porn company serving as a testing ground for new talent ever since they began naming who shot what scenes. His style is similar to many in the field in how he talks to the performers, sometimes joins in, and generally limits his comments during the sex; providing a one-camera experience gonzo scene comparable with some of his peers in the genre. His latest work to make it my way was Ass Parade 17, the sequel to Ass Parade 16 that I liked so much, serving up another five scenes of varied quality with the emphasis again on showcasing some world class ass (even if anal was not the action of the day). Given that two of my favorite ladies were involved in the movie, Brianna Love and Alexis Texas, I knew I would like this one before ever getting my copy "in hand" as it were. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Elena Heiress and Rosario Stone, a couple of Latina gals with nice curves, were up first as the director followed them down the street and into a semi-secluded area where they flashed some booty footage for him in public. Rosario was the larger of the two ladies but Elena showed why her Mexican heritage was sweeter; the tease portion of the flick continuing into the large room inside as the ladies stripped naked. They were joined by a moper named Jonny (some male cast credits were provided by the IAFD, though they were not exactly accurate for either gender) and while he had no chemistry with the ladies, the 26:32 minute long scene was pretty good as stroke material. The gals were most playful together as the men watched them, giving a lot of booty tease before they blindfolded their male captive to allow him to savor their curves using touch alone. The ladies slobbed his knob well enough and actively rode the small cock as though they were on fire, Elena providing the best bounce for the ounce from what I could tell. The resulting wad of population pudding graced both of their faces, the guy rubbing it out with ease for them to accept.

Scene Two: Brianna Love and Phoenix Marie, both curvy gals I'd love to play with, were up next as they sunned in the pool outside, bending over as they teased the camera. Slicked up from oil, the ladies laughed as Preston Parker followed them into the shaded alcove of a bench near the koi pond, the gals caressing each other nicely as the scene continued. She blew Joey with some energy though, shaking her ass nicely as she did so, until it was time to ride the cock. She did so vaginally (of course) but was largely passive, most of the action taking place in a standing doggy and a missionary that did little to allow her to pump herself silly on his smallish cock. The scene ended when he jerked off to her face, her swollen eyes looking worse in the light by the time it was finished.

Scene Four: Abbey and Mariah, the gals on the front cover, were up next with J-Mac and Preston Parker as he directed them in this 29:07 minute long scene. The quartet was dressed in western fashion and the men involved in doing chores around the barn, showing distaste for hauling horse shit on the thankfully windy day from the stalls. The gals were fleshy but in decent shape, the cloudy day casting them in favorable light despite the wind noise uncompensated for on the audio track. I thought there was more chemistry between the ladies here too but the implants put me off and the facials did little to regain my interest.

Scene Five: Jessica Lynn, a curvy blond with powerful looking legs and a sweet ass, was up last with J-Mac in a scene lasting 28:04 minutes. Preston followed her as though documenting her travels on the sunny day in public, her tight shorts and top enhancing her form (even if the pattern noise from her checkered shorts was distracting). The public exhibitionism angle was downplayed here as there were too many people around, the scene picking up in the luxurious house to allow her more freedom to strip down and tease. She had some fun with the tease too, elevating it from some of the previous scenes where the forced nature of the action limited the replayability. When she finished playing dress up in her frilly lingerie, she crawled over to blow J, her handjob assist getting him ready to poke her throbbing pussy. This was another scene that fell into decline during the vaginal romp though since she was only active when on top of him, her pushing back on his rod ending when the other positions came into play. Despite her implants and lack of active riding, I wanted to see more of her so the scene was decent for a few bouts of bone batter but it could have been better.

Summary: Ass Parade 17 by director Preston Parker for Bang Bros had enough to appreciate to warrant a rating of Recommended thanks in large part to the quality of tease going on. The wealth of curvy ass flesh was a delight and should serve to inspire those of you watching it at home but the technical values were too weak and some of the ladies seemed to be lacking in passion (to say the least). In short, Ass Parade 17 might not have been as well received as Ass Parade 16 but as a series, it was still better than average for most of the series released by the company, at least to this ass aficionado to appreciate.
