Audio/Video Quality: Both were very well done with virtually no
artifacts or problems. I did notice some dubbing a couple of times but far
less than most porno's have.

Body of Review: 5th Horseman is a story about an avenging angel
played by Evan Stone. In the movie, he is sent to recover the personal
belongings of a woman (played by Avy Scott) who met her untimely demise at
the hands of the residents of a small town and thereby resurrect her. If the
plot sounds a bit hokey, or familiar, it's because it's a variation of
what's done many times in mainstream movies-The Wraith or High Plains
Drifter come to mind. The good news is that the women look great, the sex is
well done, and the non-sex parts take up very little of the movie's playing
time. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast member:

Scene One: Zana, one of the many attractive blondes in the movie,
took on Steve in an auto repair shop, on top of a Corvette. She enjoyed
oral, straight, anal and a facial in this very warm scene. It's hard to
believe that she was the producer's second choice and I think it proves that
karma was on his side since I doubt he could've had a better performance
during the anal action (at least by anyone even nearly as attractive as she
was).

Scene Two: Gala, the only brunette of the movie, took on Evan in a
flashback scene. Another well done scene with plenty of heat. I found it
interesting that this scene was not part of the original script but was
added to provide more value to the movie. Her tight body and highly talented
oral skills really worked here and I doubt anyone would describe this as a
filler scene.

Scene Three: Hunter, one of the fresher faces I've seen lately, took
on Randy in a barn. Her sexual performance was as good as any of the other
ladies here but she seemed to revive the hip grinding action that Ginger
Lynn was known for. I hope she makes a lot more movies.

Scene Four: Ashley, a lean, fit babe, took on both Dale and Joey at a
bar. The scene included oral and straight like the other scenes, but then
kicked it up a notch with anal and a DP before a drenching facial by the
men. I guess this answers the question some have raised about Simon Wolf
movies being too "couples oriented". Whew!

Scene Five: Alexis and Pantera had a scene in a little plastic wading
pool. Both looked fine while the action was only warm. I'm certainly not
complaining because it was a lot of fun to watch and both of them seemed to
enjoy it.

Scene Six: Okay, the last scene of the movie had Evan do Avy at night
in front of the townsfolk. My take on this was that they were being tortured
since he could have her and they couldn't-so close yet so far. There's a
reason why Evan is one of the most sought after porn studs in the business
and I have a feeling she's going to be in big demand too. The sex was very
hot.

Summary: You can take one look at the dvd cover and see what the
women look like: great! The purpose of my review is as much to reassure you
that the action is well done as it is to let you know the women had fun in
their scenes. Aside from over an hour of extra's, the feature itself is
nearly 2 hours long. Not a single scene here lacks heat and unless you're
dying for lots of talking, non-sex parts in a porn movie, you're going to
find this another winner by Simon Wolf.

My biggest gripe with the movie was that the story itself might've been made
a touch clearer with a couple more speaking parts, for exposition of the
details surrounding the death of Avy's character (what did the town people
do or fail to do that caused her death). Considering that this is a porn
movie, that type of gripe speaks volumes. The few minor blemishes I
observed, the layer change on the dvd, or the sometimes abrupt scene changes
were insignificant compared to the movie as a whole. The technical aspects
of the movie, from the editing to the camera angles, to the length of the
scenes and what action took place, were all well ahead of the curve. Heck,
when I watched this a second (and third) time, I kept reevaluating which
scenes I thought were hottest here-another sign that this wasn't a typical
disposable porno. Given the problems this movie had (as discussed in
Robert's interview) and how it was all but made on the fly, I can only
wonder if the guerilla style directing would've been hampered if things had
gone as planned. Once again I tip my hat to Simon Wolf for a job well done!
