Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, the industry standard for decades. The box cover listed this DVD as an "Ultra Bit" release, leading me to think it was either a marketing gimmick or an attempt to provide a solid picture (something VCA Interactive is known for). There was minimal grain and video noise but the only real problem with the picture quality was in a few later chapters, when the screen displayed a number of pixels. The audio was presented in the standard stereo English, which was generally clear in terms of vocals as well as the generic music used for the feature.

Body of Review: Wit Maverick is well known in the porn community for providing not only solid entertainment but some solid technical directing in most cases. For the most part, he heads up the top of the line features at VCA Interactive, getting to shoot all the bells and whistles that some of the secondary guys aren't afforded. The results are often stunning in terms of the value when he hits on all cylinders and less so when a project appears rushed. In his latest release, Lights, Cameron, Action, Mr. Maverick does a decent job conveying a sense of sexual playfulness with a solid cast of industry regulars. The story concerns a woman who betrays a photographer (and the lead was not Tanya James as the front cover indicates, it was Alexis Malone if you go by sex scenes and Nikki Lynn if you go by story) and his manner of evening the score. In all, don't get this one for the story, get it for the sex, and here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Aria, one of the reining performance champions in the industry, and Becca, a lean little hotty that has some serious skills, took on pretty-boy Nick on a campground. They did some oral before he started boning the gals, with Aria spitting on Becca to lube her up a bit. Aria sucked Becca's toes while Nick was at work and then licked his penis clean of her juices before straddling the younger performer's face. While not the best work for these two gals, it was fun to watch a few times. They shared the load when he popped on their faces.

Scene Two: Alexis, a frisky blonde, and Tanya, the hotty on the front DVD cover, had a lesbian scene at the club on the stage. Most of the action involved licking each other out although a glass dildo was used at one point and some rimming took place too. I could have watched them for hours on end. Yum!

Scene Three: Nikki, a lean and muscular brunette, posed for Rob's camera as she masturbated. She used her fingers and then a vibrator to get off but the scene was limited.

Scene Four: Nikki, wanting to get something more than the last scene had to offer (which I wanted too), started off this one by blowing Tony on a chair on a patio. She proved she had ample talent in the oral department and he gave her some attention in return (mostly fingering her though), with the two being joined by another guy, Dave. She did seem to enjoy riding Tony's meat and both of them unloaded on her at the end.

Scene Five: Victoria, a curvy blonde with a large set of implants, and Steve, looking quite muscular these days, at a photoshoot. She attacked his penis with her mouth as if she was starving and it was a candy bar, and then wrapped her legs around in a 69 position. He did his oral duty before they started screwing in several positions. Her meaty legs looked ready to squeeze him to death at one point but it still ended with a decent sized facial.

Scene Six: Dana, looking better than ever with her tight body and medium length black hair, had a scene with Scott in a bed. They necked a bit and he rubbed her to get her wet enough to want to do whatever he said. He followed up by going down on her in a very warm sequence that she reciprocated for. The two then boned in several positions, displaying some chemistry and heat with their passion. He finished by jerking off into her mouth and onto her face.

Scene Seven: Alexis, still looking quite fetching, and Sergio, had a scene on a couch. They kissed, the massaged and then they got serious and did some oral (he started it off and she returned the favor). Her oral skills were in top form and they soon started boning in several sweaty positions. It ended like most scenes do, with a face full of semen.

Summary: The sex and picture quality went a long way to my rating this as Recommended and had the extras been more extensive, I'm almost positive it would've rated even higher (either that or more sex going on). The worst scene here (not including the solo scene of course) was pretty good and the better scenes were enough to keep me busy for quite some time. The cast wasn't perfect but even the most flawed gal showed some energy in her scenes, making Lights, Cameron, Action a winner.
