"Exhibitionism rules!" declares the cover of "Kiss Me Stupid," a new Vivid release.

As the resident of a state known both for its sizable senior citizen population and large number of clothing optional communities, I beg to differ (oh, Folks, the sights I've seen...).

Yet this film does make a decent case for the concept that, depending on who's doing the exhibiting, exhibitionism can indeed rule. It features ravishing creatures such as Manuel Ferrera, Evan Stone, Kurt Lockwood, and Savanna Samson (hey, if the straightest woman in the free world can admit the chick is hot, the chick is hot!). And the final two scenes are custom made for couples, especially those seeking a little adventure.

The first two, by contrast, involve boy/girl/girl scenarios that take place in public stores ("Cleanup in aisle five -- and how!"). The debut scene is saved by the presence of major cutie pie Kurt Lockwood (who looks directly into the camera at one point and gives us a sheepish grin -- swoon!); the second, however, is vaguely creepy, with the male shop clerk practically spying on a lady in the dressing room before joining her for sex. Everything depicted is consensual -- it just rubbed me the wrong way.

Things pick up in the third scene, when Manuel Ferrara -- playing a jogger named Phil (only in a porn directed primarily at dudes would the exotic Frenchman be named "Phil")--lures Savanna Samson into a warehouse for midmorning sexual shenanigans. This is a scene that features some great techniques of feminine pleasuring, including g-spot stimulation, clitoral stimulation and Manuel stimulation (the ecstatic state that would result if one managed to get lucky with Mr. Ferrara).

Things improve even more in the film's culminating sequence, when Evan Stone treats a lady to some prime public sex on a ferris wheel (heh, any of you gals get sick on ferris wheels? Here's the remedy, Baby!), in a car, and in a furniture store on what appears to be a Horny Boy recliner and atop a mattress (gee, I wonder what Evan's sleep number is).

Exhibitionism rules in these scenes, but plot and dialogue don't -- because there is none! Viewers who seek a romantic story may wish to look elsewhere, and I would hesitate before classifying "Kiss Me Stupid!" as chick porn.

Yet the film does respect the female viewer by presenting attractive men and sexual adventure in an entertaining package.

CONCLUDING WORDS: Would recommend "Just Rent Me, Stupid!" unless you're an Evan, Manuel or Kurt completist -- and there's nothing 'stupid' about that.
