The Movie:

Hustler seems to be cashing in on the porno comedy craze that’s popular right now, with their Not The… series of XXX spoofs and now the Untrue Hollywood Stories line that’s kicking off with a parody of the tabloid style life of one Miley Cyrus, recently caught up in a minor pot smoking scandal. Played by Alexis Grace, who really does bare an uncanny resemblance to the woman, this disc is a good mix of hardcore sex and reasonably funny comedic bits… torn from the pages of today’s headlines!

Here’s a look:

Scene One – Julia Ann And Barrett Blade: With Barrett in the role of Silly Ray and Julia sporting blonde here, this scene puts the two of them in the kitchen at the family home where they start making out near Miley’s birthday cake. Julia’s pants come off and Blade eats her out and they collectively play with her twat a bit before she sucks his cock with more enthusiasm than most women half her age. Barrett Blade and Julia Ann do the best with the comedic material but sadly are really only involved in the opening and the film, while still moderately amusing, never quite gets to be as funny as the opening bits. That said, the comedy is still competent enough that you’ll enjoy it. The camera work is also really good here. While it’s fairly standard in the comedic parts, the sex scenes are really nicely shot and give us just exactly what we want and when we want it, using some creative angles and well timed close ups in nice contrast with medium and long distance shots. This lets us ogle all the penetration and genital close ups we could want while still getting to groove on the looks and facial expressions of the performers enjoying themselves.

The Video:

The movie is presented in a nice 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer that boasts good, lifelike color reproduction and strong detail levels throughout. There are some minor mpeg compression artifacts evident in a few of the scenes but aside from that the disc is well authored, meaning that there are no problems with edge enhancement or aliasing. Detail is stronger than average and this is one of the better standard definition porno’s this reviewer has had the opportunity to watch in some time.

The Audio:

Hustler’s Untrue Hollywood Stories – Miley Cyrus’ 18th Birthday sounds good in its English language Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo mix. The score, dialogue and ‘sounds of sex’ all come through loud and clear with nice channel separation and some fun directional effects. Bass response is tight and bouncy and the score in particular sounds very good. Levels are properly balanced and there are no problems with hiss or distortion to complain about. Overall, things sound great.

The Extras:

The only substantial extra on this release is a Behind The Scenes (6:13) featurette that shows how green screen technology was used to recreate the parody of the infamous Billy Ray Cyrus song spoofed in the feature before moving on to a look at a few of the sex scenes being shot and then letting some of the cast and crew speak their mind about the production. Speaking of that song, the whole video in its entirety is included here as Dingly Dangly Dong Song by Silly Ray Cyrus – and you know what? It’s pretty fucking funny.

Rounding out the extras is a slideshow, trailers for a few other Hustler titles, web-links, an obnoxious amount of advertisements, as well as animated menus and chapter selection.

Overall:

Funny, sexy and remarkably well photographed, Hustler’s Untrue Hollywood Stories – Miley Cyrus’ 18th Birthday is a good mix of fucking and funny and it makes for a pretty entertaining watch. The extras aren’t all that they could have been but the inclusion of the short featurette and hilarious music video definitely helped. If you’re burnt out on parodies at this point, no one will likely blame you but this one is still funny enough to be worth watching. Recommended for fans of any of the specific performers involved, a really solid rental for everyone else.
