What red blooded man hasn’t at one point had a fantasy about a hot nurse taking care of him? There’s something appealing about the whole idea, whether it’s the outfit or just the very premise itself, that gets guys going and the porno movie industry is well aware of that, especially these days where nurse videos seem to have somehow become all the rage. This shot on digital video production looks pretty clean presented here in a reasonably stable 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots and a noticeable bit of mpeg compression evident throughout in the darker scenes. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on (though some of the camera work in a couple of spots is quite shaky), and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything looks as good as you'd realistically expect it to.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. There is no background music used anywhere during the feature aside from the opening credits and the levels do tend to fluctuate quite a bit from scene to shining scene but aside from that there isn't much to whine about here. The audio is fine.

Extras:

Adam & Eve have supplied a decent amount of extras on this disc, staring with a Behind The Scenes (13:29) segment that features a bunch of fly on the wall footage shot on the set while the production was under way. It’s a bit too brief to be of much substance but here you’ll find mostly just some random footage of Alexis getting into character and romping around in her nurse’s costume. It’s fairly random, but a few welcome up-skirt shots are sexy enough.

The best of the extras, however, is a Bonus Scene (20:21) from American Maid in which a very lucky Tommy Gunny gets to fool around with foxy Alexis Ford. Final Thoughts:

Nurse Alexis is definitely one that should be on your radar if you’re a fan of the lovely up and comer that is Alexis Ford. Not only are her two scenes winners, but the other three are pretty hot stuff as well. The DVD release is up to Adam & Eve’s general standard of quality in that it looks and sounds pretty good thanks to some strong production values and attention to detail. The extras aren’t much to write home about, but the bonus scene is nice. Recommended.
