Club Freak isn't as wild as the box cover might suggest, but it is a decent couples film that will appeal the most to fans of Kylie Ireland who hosts the proceedings and has a few scenes as well.

It should be pointed out that despite the impression one may get from the box cover, this isn't a movie that is heavy into bondage, domination or anything particularly kinky. Most of the sex is "vanilla" in nature, although that doesn't mean one won't have a fun time watching the action.

Kylie stars as herself, the host of an internet talk show that is using a fetish club as their weekly location. The action begins when Kylie introduces the home viewer to Mia Smiles, who is soon getting it on with Steve Hatcher on the club's stage. After some oral foreplay for both Mia and Steve, they go at it in the missionary and doggy positions and then Steve pops a very weak cumshot onto Mia's face.

Kylie then goes to a computer to see some of the couples that are online with a webcam. One couple from Minnesota, played by adult performers Brittney Skye and Marty Romano, decide to perform for Kylie and the rest of the internet audience on their cam. Brittney's a cute blonde who is always fun to watch in action, and the only disappointing part of her scene here with Marty is the fact that the cumshot is just sprayed on Brittney's body instead of a better spot…like her face!

Kylie gets some action of her own next, as Sindee Coxx arrives and does a solo striptease show on stage, then starts licking Kylie out and fucking her with a jelly green dildo. During the second half of the pairing, Kylie returns the favor by giving oral to Sindee and giving it to her with a pink jelly vibe.

The one scene in Club Freak that comes the closest to being truly kinky is a paring between redheaded (and somewhat older) performer Alexis Fire and Kyle Stone, in which he begins by sucking on her toes, fingering her vigorously and even shoving her panties into her pussy – only to remove them later and lick them off. Alexis also gets the chance to show off her agility, letting Kyle give it to her in the standing doggy position while she is leaning over so far that her head is down in between her legs; and then later taking it on the bed missionary style with her legs all the way up and over her head! This scene also has the best cumshot of the movie, with Kyle shooting a nice load in Alexis' mouth.

The final scene of the title has Kylie making out with the club's owner (Mickey G.) on top of the bar. Kylie looks like she gives a great blow job, and although it appears that Ms. Ireland has put on a few pounds over the last couple of years, I can't imagine any red-blooded male saying "no" if they had a chance to have her near-perfect body.

The video is above-average for an adult DVD title, but since most of the scenes take place in a darkened club, the true quality of the video is never able to really be appreciated since the lighting on the sets wasn't that impressive. The audio is the real surprise here – in that it is really low, making some of the dialogue hard to hear without really cranking up the volume. This is surprising because Adam & Eve generally makes titles with very good audio transfers, so one wonders what happened here.

As far as bonus materials go, the DVD is about average for an adult release. There's a photo gallery, some cast bios, a nice 25-minute behind the scenes featurette, four previews and a bonus scene featuring Gina Lynn from the movie Dreamscape.

Club Freak will appeal the most to fans of Kylie Ireland, but regardless of whether you're one of her biggest fans or just a casual adult viewer looking for an evening's worth of viewing, Club Freak doesn't warrant more than a rental.
