Extra's: This two disc set had a lot of great extras to give it a lot of value added content worth buying. First up was a bonus scene between Victoria Sin and Mark Ashley from Dirty Little Devils. Her fetish outfit and ability to do anal made it a very heated scene. The next bonus scene was between Brittney Skye and Chris Cannon from True Hardwood Stories. It was shorter and wasn't as good to watch but it was a "bonus" scene so I can't fuss too loudly. I actually liked the 21.5 minute long Behind the Scenes footage the most though. It looked better than the other BTS footage and had a lot of the sexual activity missing in other extras. Next up was a 21 minute long feature called Making of the Merkin (Merkin=fake pubic hair). I've never been a big fan of pubic hair so I was glad to learn the bushy privates of the gals weren't their usual conditions. It was washed out looking and the droning jazz music got old pretty quick but it was fun watching the cast have some silly moments. There was a set of four photogalleries with some of the main women of the show, a 7 minute long featurette on the nudist camp gals playing badminton, some trailers, and even four postcard sized pictures inside the DVD case. Oh, and disc one there was a hidden Easter Egg (a photogallery from another movie).

Audio/Video Quality: Camera Club was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as it was shot by director Nick Orleans. The colors were reasonably accurate and the composition of the shots seemed pretty well done with the kind of stylish 1950's look the movie was shooting for. The focus wasn't always perfect and there were some compression artifacts but it wasn't terrible looking for a mid-level release. The audio was presented in stereo English but had little dynamic range and the separation between the channels left something to be desired. If you like the music louder than the vocals in your porn, this will definitely appeal to you more than it did me but that's a choice only you can make.

Body of Review: Adam & Eve has long been known as a company on the front lines of the First Amendment to the point where the owner fought battles against censorship long before idiots like Rob Black were provoking conflict with the authorities. Over time, the company kept focused on porn made for couples more than the current trend of circus act sex that so many gonzo producers foist upon the public so you could say the company is known more for gateway material than anything else. Their latest release is Camera Club, a series of barely related vignettes where a young housewife played by Violet Blue explores her own sexual awakening in a number of scenarios as set in the 1950's suburbs. If you want a lot of hardcore action, you might want to look elsewhere but there was a fair amount of decent material to enjoy for newbies. Here's a look at the scenes from the show:

Scene One: Suburban Housewife & The Gardener: Violet, the brunette on the front DVD cover, and studly Byron, had the first scene in her bedroom after she admired his gardening skills in the front yard. She blew him and spent a lot of time licking his nuts to get him rock hard. Sadly, he ended it by jerking off onto her feet after that.

Scene Two: Camera Club: Lexi, a light haired gal wearing a red dress in a convertible, gave the three "J's" a show: Joey, John, and goofball Jeremy. They filmed her with their cameras and they all got some head before John started banging her tight pussy in several positions. It ended when they jerked off onto her all natural body. I liked the scene but felt it was too limited in terms of what took place.

Scene Three: Missionary in Suburbia: Violet, still dressed in her 1950's housewife garb, took Joey to the bedroom for some fun and loving. They kissed and she seemed to enjoy him caressing her before he popped his penis into her and slowly banged away. This was a kind of weak scene too but Violet's legion of fans might appreciate the change of pace the entire movie gave her.

Scene Four: The Library: Corina, dressed up like Lois Lane from the old Superman television show (looking mighty homely too), played a librarian that wanted some of Vincent's penis Popsicle. The two used the library stacks to prop themselves up and this was the best scene of the movie by far to this point. There was oral, vaginal and a huge pop shot to her leg.

Scene Five: Ladies of Suburbia: Violet and Yasmine, a couple in contrast (Yasmine had lighter hair and larger curves), enjoyed a lesbian scene in the home after admiring each other's bodies and slowly getting into the mood. I liked the lingerie and the two gals seemed to have an affinity for one another as they tasted and rubbed one another to get off.

Scene Six: Strip Club: Victoria, a blonde with large curves (too bad her breasts were so overdone), showed club owner John a good time. I have to admit that her stripping skills were very solid and the sex show she put on afterwards was also very well done with the crowd having nearly as much fun. Some men would say her ass was fat but I'd disagree, saying it was "phat" and very well proportioned. In all, her performance also showed a good amount of chemistry and energy with studly John giving her a lot of fun too. Fans will like that she took anal very easily but I thought her oral was even better.

Scene Seven: Nudist Camp: John, after getting his pubic hair shaved off by the lovely trio of Eva, Ashley, and Alexis, let them orally tease and please him in this next scene after the gals played badminton. It was an oral only scene but the gals looked nice so I won't rip the director to shreds over it.

Scene Eight: Orgy in Suburbia: Jessica and Violet, started off by slowly seducing one another for some lesbian loving while Yasmine took on Joey and Vincent on a couch. Most of the sex was oral and vaginal but some anal took place too as the cast swapped partners a few times. It was limited in a number of ways but I still thought they had some energy and chemistry together.

Scene Nine: Connie & Otis in Love: Violet, all dressed up in an elegant outfit, gave Byron a handjob with a couple of licks to end the show. She could've given him an all out blowjob and let him tear up her ass but that wasn't meant to be so it really wasn't a scene but I gave it partial credit because it varied things up a bit.

Summary: Camera Club is worth a rating of Rent It to me due to the uneven nature of the direction and the limited heat of the sex scenes. The extras were very solid and the cast had something for just about everyone but the 1950's look isn't my type of thing and the action routinely dropped the ball for me although I'm sure that fans of erotica will probably find the amount of fuck for the buck above average. As a showcase for Violet Blue, the movie certainly has it's place but the most I'd be able to get from it would be a semi on a good day and that's not enough to truly suggest you go out and get it.
