First Impressions: Although gold is Peru's most valuable export, Alexis Amore is definitely its hottest. Raven-haired, dark-eyed, and blessed with a pair of tits that rise from her chest like the  Andes, it's obvious why Alexis is one of the most sought after dancers in the business.  (She's won a number of entertainer of the year of the awards for her feature dancing.)  This DVD collects 10 of Alexis's hottest scenes, from a handful of dated features to some more recent releases.

Extras: Seven trailers, including spots for Nowhere Angels, Taboo 22, My Secret Life, and Wonderland; a photo gallery (which runs just over two minutes); and utterly useless ad banners, phone sex ads, and a website commercial.

Audio/Visual Quality: Don’t be fooled by the box’s promise of a 16:9 presentation.  Only six of the disc’s 10 scenes are widescreen, with four of them (scenes five and seven through nine) presented in standard 4:3.  Picture quality is adequate.  My lone criticism regarding the images is that a number of the scenes (mainly scenes six through nine) are either distractingly dark or plagued by the occasional shadow. It’s nothing major, mind you, but the uneven lighting was enough to periodically pull me out of the scene.

Sound quality varies from scene to scene, but it’s never awful enough to make you want to reach for the mute button on the remote, or fire up your own White Stripes-heavy soundtrack on your iPod.

What Your Money’s Gonna Get You: Spectacular tits, some ultra-hot chick co-stars (namely O'Lovely), a handful of quality scenes, and a new appreciation for South America. (Thank you, Peru!)  Unfortunately, you’ll also be subjected to an uncomfortably violent second scene (Aexis gets choked and slapped hard by a manic, weak-chinned porn novice), a pair of bizarre segments pulled from features (one is pirate themed and the other involves a dude in a full body cast with a hole cut out for his cock), and some really uneven lighting and direction.  Fortunately though, you can easily use the chapter search function to bypass duds like the aforementioned scenes and instead jump right to the rest of this otherwise solid disc.  Scenes two (ridiculously hot g/g/g action in a well-edited and slick segment), four (which begins with a lengthy jerk off-worthy dual blowjob by Alexis and Olivia), and 10 (pictured below, Alexis's fantastic body is highlighted while she handles a pair of cocks jutting through a bathroom stall's glory holes) are quite awesome and alone make this DVD worthy of at least a rent.

As a major fan of Alexis, I really wanted to give Alexis Amore Revealed a higher rating.  There's enough quality material here (nearly three hours) to warrant repeat viewings, but the DVD as a package leaves a lot to be desired.  For starters, there isn't any extra material worth spending even more than a few seconds on.  In a disc as slickly packaged as this one (it comes in a sleeve and features attractive artwork on the front and back covers), I  expected some sort of brief bio of Alexis, or a filmography, or a list of her many awards, at least (this is a greatest hits compilation, after all).  A bonus scene would have been welcome, too.  Instead, we're not even provided a list of the films that these scenes were culled from.  That's absolutely inexcusable, and made worse by the lack of performer credits at the beginning of each scene.

As I mentioned above, the DVD is certainly worth a rent.  Few women in the industry sport bodies as fine as Alexis's.  But save your hard-earned money for a DVD that has more respect for its viewers.
