Audio/Video Quality: Interestingly enough, most of the scenes were either very poor looking or pretty good with little middle ground. The sound was consistently average.

Body of Review: When I first ordered Ultimate Alex Taylor, I was expecting a compilation full of scenes with a hotty. Due to my past experiences with Vivid's compilations, I knew that I'd probably get about half a dvd of good scenes with the rest being filler. The problem was that I thought Alex was someone completely different, and I based that partially on the dvd cover.

Okay, I know a lot of people that have made mistakes with performer's names and I'm certainly not above making similar errors, even after reviewing hundreds of dvds over the years. I knew that Alex had previously been Miss Argentina, Miss New Hampshire and a major hotty of a Penthouse Pet. If you look at the dvd cover, you'd think she was great looking too. Unfortunately, she doesn't live up to her previous endeavors in this compilation and I thought it was someone completely different so I share in the blame here.

The dvd has 10 scenes which last over two hours along with some unrelated, but not bad, bonus scenes. The second problem I had was that too many of the scenes were marred by poor lighting or low video quality. If you have watched this gal before and think she's great, you'll probably find enough here to enjoy as either a rental or maybe a purchase when a sale comes along (as so often happens with Vivid's compilations). Maybe I'm being too hard on the dvd over my mistake but I think the actual scenes speak for themselves and I've seen a lot better in the past.

Summary: My bad! I screwed up and ended up with a dvd full of scenes that are all but unwatchable to me. Why? Well, the major reason is that Alex's implants look really bad. When she does a doggy scene or moves in a certain way, it almost looks like her right breast has a deep scar going all the way through it. I'm sure she looked much, much better when she was in New Hampshire (hey, I'm originally from that area so I should know). Some of the unrelated scenes were pretty good but they aren't the reason you'd buy a compilation, right? I'm suggesting you skip this one unless you are really into the gal and know exactly what you are getting. Disregard the dvd cover as it doesn't look anything at all like her in the movie.
