Audio/Video: The video is presented in 1.33:1 Full Frame color with one exception. One scene (bonus scene 1) is presented in 1.85:1 Widescreen color. The picture quality varies, as the scenes were produced from 1996 to 2001. However the majority of the scenes the picture quality is very poor. The audio is presented in stereo surround. In most of the scenes the background music tended to drown out the moaning of the girls involved.

DVD Mechanics: DVD opens with several minutes very annoying ads for Vivid website, Herbal Vivid (like Viagra?), phone sex ads, and Vivid endorsed sex toys that you can't skip.

Body of Review: This feature is another installment in the Vivid compilation series The Real... This particular title brings ten scenes from Kobe Tai, who is a well known Asian adult performer. This is a feature that is comprised of some of Kobe's work from 1996 to 2001. For those of you who do not know who Kobe Tai is, she's a Chinese/Japanese gal. She has long brown hair, brown eyes; she's about 5'3", weighs about 90lbs. She's an extremely cute gal, with an excellent body, and ample firm breasts. She's been in the adult industry for some time now. If you'll notice in the following section there is a scene by scene breakdown, which includes the actresses, original film it is from, year of production, a brief description, and scene rating.

Scene 1: Kobe Tai, Bobby Vitale
Scene From: The Awakening (1999)
This scene starts out with Kobe stark naked taking it from behind. Bobby is working his magic on her. The two engage in straight and anal sex on a porch. The scene ends with Bobby jerking himself off and Kobe watching. This scene was literally about 3 minutes long. They cut out a major part of it, the beginning.

Brad Armstrong sits on a couch while the naked Kobe gives him oral while Mark Davis photographs them. The two engage in oral and straight sex. The scene ends with Kobe jerking off Brad. This scene wasn't too exciting, it was a little dull in fact. The background music was also a little too loud during this scene.

This scene starts off with Kobe completely naked and Bobby very close. Anyways Bobby is going crazy licking and sucking her feet. Anyways the scene proceeds and the two engage in oral, straight, and anal sex. The scene ends with Kobe jacking off Bobby. This scene was pretty decent. Kobe gave a pretty good oral segement. The sex was pretty average.

The sex begins with he to she oral, then she to he. They have sex in a variety of positions. In this scene she has anal sex. Ends with money shot on Kobe's stomach. Good scene, probably one of the bests on this feature. This scene review comes from my review of Kobe Tai: Under Contract.

Scene From: Stardust 4: Cheap Thrills (1997)
This scene starts off with Steven St. Croix with his shorts hiked up so high that it looks painful. He's wearing a copy hat and just acting dumb. Kobe is there with him, trying to get a job? She's nude and goes down on him. The two engage in oral and straight sex. Midway through the scene Bobby walks in and joins them. The scene then goes on to include anal. The scene ends with Bobby unloading on Kobe's backside and we don't see where Steven dumps it. This scene was pretty comical with both Steven and Bobby. They both used really bad southern accents and whatnot. Anyways, the sex was pretty damn heated in this scene. I really enjoyed this one, specifically the oral and the threesome action. Very nice.

In this scene Kobe is dressed in a cute light green blouse and black mini skirt. She looks absolutely beautiful. She is joined with Mark Davis for oral, straight, and anal sex. The scene ends with Kobe taking a facial. This scene was pretty hot. It's a rare sight to see Kobe take a facial. But than again she's married to him or at least used to be.

In this scene Kobe's wearing some yellow top and nothing else. She takes on Mark in oral, straight, and anal sex. The scene ends with a facial. This was another pretty good scene. The oral segment was definitely heated and the sex was just as inspiring. Most importantly of all we got to witness another Kobe rarity, the facial.

This scene features the lovely Kobe Tai with the gorgeous and extremely popular Jenna Jameson in a girl/girl scene with toys. While I am incredibly attracted to both girls, I didn't care much for this scene. The picture was really bright. Also the toy used was a strap on and I personally do not care for those.

Scene From: Lotus (1996)
In this scene Mark Davis is dressed up in some oriental garb. Kobe is nude and she engages Mark in oral, straight, and anal sex. The scene ends with a facial. Like prior scenes with her husband Mark, there is a good amount of chemistry between the two. Thus the scene is pretty heated. However in this scene the oral segment wasn't that exciting, but the sex portion was, plus we got another facial. Overall a decent scene.

Scene 10: Kobe Tai, Vince Vouyer
Scene From: The Show 2 (1996)
Despite what this feature claims, I'm most definitely sure this scene is actually from The Asian Show. I even compared both scenes. They are the same. Except in The Asian Show version the scene jumps back and forth between Kobe and Vince, Chloe and Jon Dough. Anyways in this scene Vince is convincing Kobe to stay and be a guest star on Steven St. Croix sexual talk show. Well Kobe agrees to do it for some sex. She engages Vince in oral, straight, and anal sex. The scene ends with Vince unloading on Kobe's southern region. This scene is pretty heated. It was one I always enjoyed.

Kobe Tai is an extremely beautiful Asian gal. She has a wonderful body, decent but firm breasts, and an absolutely beautiful face. She joins Taylor Hayes in this scene for girl/girl action. Anyways the girls take care of each other using their hands and mouths. The scene was pretty decent, but it seemed pretty short.
This scene also appears in Under Contract: Kobe Tai, Nasty As I Wanna Be: Taylor Hayes, and Girls Only: Brunettes.

Bonus Scene 2: Kobe Tai, Janine, Alex Taylor
Scene From: Where the Boys Aren't 12 (1999)
This scene Kobe is joined with Janine and Alex Taylor on a pool table with some interesting toys. The girls spend this scene licking, rubbing, touching, sucking, thrusting one another. There is a decent amount of action in this scene, but all and all it wasn't too terribly exciting.

Bonus Scene 3: Kobe Tai, Devon, Sky Lopez
Scene From: Where the Boys Aren't 13 (1999)
We find Devon on a bed, awaiting someone. In appears Kobe with a few toys. She and Devon start kissing and engage in some girl/girl action with toys. Midway Sky walks in and joins the fun. This scene was much more exciting than the prior all girl scene. The action was pretty heated.

Concluding Words: Before reviewing this title I had reviewed another Kobe Tai compilation, Under Contract: Kobe Tai. Naturally being a big fan of Kobe Tai, I enjoyed it. However since this compilation focuses on work from the mid 1990's, the quality of the presentation is less than acceptable. I think this greatly hinders this title, but being as that's where the bulk of her Vivid career is, there isn't much choice. Well with that aside I can say that the content is pretty good. There isn't a lot of repeated material between this feature and Under Contract: Kobe Tai, only a two scene overlap. So pretty much if you're a big fan of Kobe Tai you should definitely check this out. However if you're not, well this title is worth checking out. So rent it, watch it, but be sure not to buy it.
