Extra's: Gonzo porn is not often known for having decent extras but this release had some decent material. There was a 6-minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Ms. Fab. It showed the cast getting ready and playing around with Alex Sanders (the director) and some of the crew. There were five short interviews with the women; each lasting under five minutes but giving us some idea of the personalities involved. There were also 13 short written biographies of the entire cast, including the men that provided some background on them as well as a list of Sin City movies they've done. The rest of the extras included the usual trailers, photogallery, pop shot compilation, and spam.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as expected. There was some grain and video noise but the overall it wasn't bad at all and showed some promise of better offerings in the future. The camera work was decent enough too and it appears that most of the flaws were edited out (a good thing). The fleshtones were solid and only a few moments of weak lighting stood out as problematic. The audio was presented in stereo English with minimal separation and dynamic range but generally average in terms of communicating the fun of the sex.

Body of Review: Sin City has undergone some changes over the last few years and their most popular lines are said to be their gonzo releases under their Mayhem subsidiary. The latest anal themed DVD by the company is Straight Up The Pipe, a series of vignettes that focus on booty sex. This is what the box cover said: "Get ready for fresh hot young ass, puckering pink and dying to get fucked, "Straight Up The Pipe" is an anal extravaganza about naughty little butt sluts hungry for big hard cocks in their tight little asses, mouths and pussies. Mayhem cutie Katrina Kraven gets an advanced lesson in bunghole stretching from Mr. Pete and Julian St. Jox. Scene One: Ava, an Asian gal with huge implants, started off the show with a heavily edited montage of footage showing her masturbate and tease the camera. This was standard throughout the show and I'm not a fan of that type of thing since it doesn't really work for me. Her partners for the scene were Alex and Mandangalo, using the contrasting White, Black and Asian skin tones as a means of racial unity. They opened her up by using a huge (and I do mean HUGE) dildo on her ass with some ATM action to boot(y). They then started slamming her front and back, switching positions on a regular basis. They did some pussy sex too but ended it with facials that she swallowed. I'm not a big fan of hers but she gave an energetic performance that could be appreciated by all.

Scene Two: Katrina, a brunette with a round ass and growing collection of large tattoos, was up next. She followed the formula and had a montage of her own, showing off her body for the camera. Katrina is another gal that has never really appealed to me much because she always seemed too trashy for me. Fans disagree with me (some have done so in person), saying that she is so slutty that they feel she's approachable (perhaps for money). They typically compare her to Belladonna in terms of her looks and talent so who am I to say they're wrong? Pete and Julian had played with her, each taking her from one end as she offered herself up. Her dirty talk was good and energy levels made me believe she enjoyed the fun so the oral, straight, anal antics were easy on the eyes. If you like your porn stars looking drop dead gorgeous but afraid of having fun, pass this one up. The scene ended when she took a load up her ass (jerked of into her gape) and then ATM'ed it clean.

Scene Three: Olivia, my personal favorite of the cast and a gal featured on the front DVD cover, had the hump scene. Her fleshy ass and playful attitude really worked well here and after the montage, Alex showed how her ass was tight enough to bounce a quarter on the cheeks. Billy joined the two and the scene then began in earnest. Alex went down on her ass while she blew Billy and soon enough, the trio was banging away like banshees. Interestingly, she was not the most energetic here but she shared some chemistry with the guys and that helped make the scene a winner. She vocally applauded the anal as Billy took her and her oral skills were never in doubt but it wasn't the best she's done of late.

Scene Four: Mya, the only black gal of the movie and surprisingly enough, the gal with the leanest ass, had the montage and then went straight to the sex with Devlin and Sledge on a bed. They toyed with her a bit more than the others but she seemed up to the task at hand as she handled all they had to offer. From the gagging oral to the plunging anal, she gave 110% and that was good of her. I'm not really a fan of hers since her look doesn't really appeal to me all that much and her skills were less related to talent and more to being able to take whatever comes her way yet she wasn't bad here. She took the loads to her face fairly well but the guys missed it with most of their jizz and she sure didn't look ready to swallow so fans of that type of thing will deduct points.

Scene Five: Melissa, a blonde with an all-natural body, had the final scene. She had a nicely shaped ass; not as round as Olivia but not as lean as Mya's either. Her montage seemed shorter than the others (a good thing) and she went to work on Chris' penis in short order. They started off with the pussy fucking and went to anal before long. She was kind of a lump in terms of taking the dick in her body, not moving much and essentially hanging on. In short, this was the worst scene since it lacked energy and chemistry on all levels. I've seen her give a lot more of herself elsewhere so that made it even worse for me to watch, knowing she was holding back. It ended with a facial and she didn't swallow (spitting it onto her breast instead) making it lame for me.

Summary: The show started off strong and kind of tapered off quickly so I'm going to rate it as a Rent It. I'm sure fans of the cast will think better of it than I did but the only gal I really like a whole lot is Olivia and her performance wasn't the best here. The technical values were decent and the extras better than expected so check it out if this is what you're looking for.
