Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame format color. It looked a bit darker than average and the clarity not up to Wicked Picture's usual standard but still pretty good. I didn't see any compression artifacts on the dvd transfer, nor did I see too many other problems (the picture did look a bit red to me though). The audio was presented in a choice of a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround track or a regular stereo track. While I recognize that the 5.1 track was not the original audio, it sounded superior to the stereo audio here.

Review: Serenity has been one of my favorite performers in porn for some time. A former contract performer for the high end Wicked Pictures, Serenity displayed a range of talent that surpassed most of her colleagues. She could handle comedy, as in Double Feature or Bride of Double Feature, drama like Guilty Pleasures, or even a wall to wall orgy as in the Wicked Sex Party 1 or the title this review is about Serenity's Roman Orgy.

The movie has no real plot or story other than being set up as an orgy in Caligula's Rome back in the "good old days" of Imperial Rome. The cast is as diverse as it is in order to give everyone something to like with all the performers wearing togas or military garb of the time period. The action is pretty limited to oral and straight sex (with some lesbian action) and condoms are used (to be fair, the performer's health is more important than to adhering to a "condoms weren't invented then" philosophy) but the sex itself seemed plenty warm. My biggest complaint is that the sex was often portrayed in slow motion, or as I refer to it; motion de-hancement. It works in very few circumstances when done in porn movies-typically as a limited use artistic montage. Other than that, and a bit of dislike for the lighting, I thought the movie was a good vehicle for showcasing some of the performers, particularly Serenity herself.

Rather than write a virtual screenplay of every action and who did what to whom, I will just say that if you like watching attractive babes (like Serenity, Nikita, Kylie, and others), having sex with each other and some men (most of whom are decent enough at what they do) with good production values, you'll want to see this one. If you absolutely hate slow motion photography or the entire cast, you'll want to pass it up. Otherwise, I suggest it rates a Recommended status. Having met Serenity myself, my personal rating is even higher and I applaud Wicked Pictures for releasing their back catalog of Serenity titles, so big Serenity fans will want to get this one as well as the others.
