BODY:
In the adult industry, Evan Stone stands among a select group of male superstars who has the ability to boost and ultimately sell a picture -- especially to a female audience hungry for attractive, intimately skilled male leads.
He has appeared in hard and softcore productions. He has hosted the AVN Awards and seems equally comfortable in romantic, erotic features and wild gonzo quickies.
Plus someone wrote a poem about him once and posted it on the Internet; a poetic homage to the author's favorite adult performer. This man is just too good!
Evan is also one of the few male stars to warrant his own compilation disc. And sure enough, "Stone Cold Evan" was released late last year through Vivid.
This disc features virtually every 'Evan Fantasy' that many female adult fans likely harbor (you know who you are and I count myself proudly among you!):Evan the construction worker, Evan the repairman, Evan the bank teller (OK, y'all probably haven't fantasized that particular scenario -- but as usual, he makes it look good). He is seen in couples, threesomes and groups, with actresses such as Briana Banks, Savanna Sampson, Sunrise Adams, Jessica Drake and Devon.
You also see him in settings as diverse as a beautiful Victorian-style home and a boxing ring. And you sample snippets of the easygoing, often humorous acting style admired by both male and female viewers.
What you don't see, however, is the seduction technique that -- in my opinion -- is one of Evan's strongest assets.
You saw it in "Adrenaline," when his character mesmerized Jessica Drake with intense stares and softly spoken words of wooing. You saw it in the softcore "Haunting Desires," where his vampire antihero tells a captivated reporter that he's going to show her "what true ecstasy is." (I bet he could. And how). Yet beyond a few one-liners, this disc does not feature extensive dialogue or sequences of romantic buildup.
Overall, however, "Stone Cold Evan" is a detailed, diverse representation of a monumental career.
CONCLUDING WORDS: Just in time for Christmas, Ladies; much love and happy holidays from Goldenmuse
