Extra's: The best extra for me was the 23 minute long Behind the Scenes feature credited to Kylie Ireland but she wasn't the voice used for the interview initially (yet she was continually working the camera while Jordan spoke up). She did get more vocal as it progressed though and I admit that it was a fun BTS with plenty of nudity and sex for those who spend the time to watch them. There was also a cumshot recap, a photogallery, some trailers, and a double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Firebush 3 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally directed by Jewel De' Nyle for distribution by Platinum X Pictures. The fleshtones were accurate, the editing unobtrusive, and the lighting generally fair although a bit more work on the lighting would've made it look better. The overall composition of the shots was favorable to the gals and I saw no compression artifacts or video noise to mar the picture. The stereo English audio was fairly basic with the cast being easily heard as they moaned & groaned in 2.0 Dolby Digital. The music wasn't a factor in the scenes and I thought it was well handled too but the vocals were better.

Body of Review: Jewel De'Nyle is one of my favorite performers from the 1990's and now that she's turned into a director, I fully expect her to offer up some heated sex scenes that befit this former starlet. Well, the fact is that she makes some very good movies but also takes chances from time to time that don't really pay off too well. Such was the case with Firebush 3, a show focusing on redheads having sex on camera. Like the previous two titles that I recommended, the format was followed but the performers here were often lacking in the kind of energy I want to see in a modern porno; energy found in abundance in both Firebush 2 and Firebush 1. Here's a quick look at the scenes, a few of which were worth my time but most of which never lived up to their potential. There were even times when I wondered if Jewel was on the set given the distractions and limitations observed, but at least none of the guys used a condom:

Scene One: Victoria Sweet, a 20 year old cutie wearing pink & white lingerie, started the show by masturbating with a clear dildo on a bed. Well lubed up, she prepared herself to work with studly Alex Sanders, who seemed to slowly seduce her as he rubbed and kissed her. Summary: Firebush 3 had asome bright moments but they were few and far between so I rated this one as a low end Rent It. There were times when I thought I'd actually be saying for fans to pass it up but there was enough to enjoy that such a warning became unnecessary (thankfully enough) though fans of the performers may want to evaluate the scenes based on their own criterion rather than rely on an objective observer such as myself. The technical values were lower end than usual and the chemistry was often lacking, making the scenes lower in value for me than usual. I'll admit that the gals offered up some pleasing features (either looks or skill) but the inconsistency they showed weakened the action for me. Check it out and compare it to any of Jewel's more recent releases and I think you'll see what I mean but give it a look nonetheless.
