"Imagine men that pay attention only to you, desire only you, men who have intense passion for only you. Never spend another evening alone. Let Julian and his crew attend to all of your needs. Imagination becomes reality when you call the guys of Erection Services."
OK, sounds good to me. Where do I sign up???
Erection Services, a DVD released by Inpulse Pictures, carries the claim that it is "made especially for women who love and enjoy men." And who wouldn't love and enjoy Julian, Alex Sanders and Chris Cannon, the actors on ample display in this film?
Indeed, unlike most adult features, the men are the main attraction of "Erection Services." Their names are listed first in the film's credits, well ahead of female stars Roxanne Hall, Jessica Dee, Casey Pink and Wendy Devine. The film's opening credits feature 'beauty shots' of the males. And throughout the sex scenes, the camera focuses primarily on the male bodies -- to delightful effect, if you ask me.
"Erection Services" also differs sharply from many couple's films, as it contains little dialogue. Julian quickly tells us that -- in his quest to prove that he knows what women want -- he and his friends have started a 'service' for females (hooray!!!). And then off we go to the hardcore sex.
This is not to say, however, that Erection Services lacks romance. In every sex scene, the actors shower affection on their women, kissing, massaging and carressing them; rubbing and licking their feet; and applying sex toys in just the right places. And Julian offers voiceovers describing the moves and atmosphere that women need to derive the most satisfaction from sex.
Julian is the strikingly handsome coverboy of "Erection Services" -- I was also glad to see that Alex Sanders, my first porn crush, and Chris Cannon remain in splendid form on this disc.
The plot of "Erection Services" is also refreshing, as Julian tries to dispute an ex-girlfriend's claim that he doesn't know what women want. He eventually admits he had a lot to learn (a shocking and refreshing admission from a male), and finishes the film by saying, "Let's put what I've learned to the test. I'm having dinner with her tomorrow."
To me, it would have been sexier if Julian had turned to the camera and said, "Let's put what I've learned to the test. I'll come to your place tomorrow." Mayhap that's just wishful dreaming on my part. . .
Also, at one point during Alex Sanders' scene, his character tells a client, "Mistress Sophie knows what you like." Huh? Julian doesn't look much like a Mistress Sophie. This was probably a plot point left stranded on the cutting room floor.
Overall, I feel that Erection Services is a must-see for any female adult film viewer. And I say Julian was right the first time; he certainly knows what a woman wants. . .
