Extra's: This is one of Wicked Pictures' older releases and the extras were minimal at best. They included a few photogalleries, promotional reels, Free Speech Coalition commercial, DVD-ROM extras (company profile, casino game, award winners, desktop backgrounds and weblinks), trailers to movies such as Hercules, XXX Training and Falling From Grace, and a double sided DVD cover. Note: no Star Stats section was on the DVD even though it was advertised as having one.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the industry standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. There was some grain and video noise but the worse visual problem was related to the lighting. All too often, it was uneven which caused a host of problems (such as the grain) and color saturation. The up side was that there were no compression artifacts. The audio was presented in a remastered 5.1 Dolby Digital surround English track. There was no real separation between the channels, I think it was originally shot in monaural, but aside from some discrepancies in the mix, it was pretty fair for such a low budget release.

Body of Review: Fans of feature porn know that the stories are often written in what amounts to record time, made to accommodate performers with zero acting ability, and usually embarrass all those involved. There are a handful of companies who's track record is better than average though and Wicked Pictures is one of them. The focus of this review is a little movie from the distant past, Dear Diary. It was written by performer Alex Sanders, and even netted him and Jeanna Fine awards for best supporting performer. It was rumored to be a major factor in getting lead Kaitlyn Ashley her performer of the year award too but I can't confirm that at this writing. In any case, the story centered on a young woman (played by Kaitlyn) who is disabled and subjected to abuse by those around her, all except for Alex, her nurse. One day, a mysterious character offers her a magic diary, one where she can obtain her revenge on those who mistreat her. In the end, all schemes of revenge seem to back fire and the movie provided some good sex to go with the decent acting. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Kaitlyn, back in her prime and looking good, started off the movie by giving Peter a great blowjob in bed. She acted as though she adored his penis and slobbered on it enough to keep the shaft lubed up as she toyed with him and focused all her energies on getting him excited. She then sat on it cowgirl style and rode him silly until they changed positions into a doggy style. It ended with him blowing his load on her lovely legs.

Scene Two: Krista, a lean gal with reddish brown hair, took care of Alex in his little home gym. They started off by making out, acting like a real couple (arguing) and then they playfully did some oral on one another before they started in on the penetration. They changed positions a few times and he finished off by jerking out a load onto her crotch. I liked it.

Scene Three: Jeanna, Jordan and Steven, all had a scene in a dark room with one another. There was plenty of oral, including rimming, before the two gals took a heaping helping of man meat in their pussies. Jordan wore a strap on dildo to bone Jeanna at one point (while Steven nailed her) and the scene ended just as it was building heat.

Scene Four: Felecia and Krista, after acting like bitches, ended up in the mysterious dark world of the diary in a lesbian scene. They did the usual licking and rubbing before pulling out the strap on dildo to finish with. They looked good, even though the lighting was not optimal, and the scene was pretty good.

Scene Five: Kaitlyn, still looking like a hotty, and Alex, had their scene together in the dark world of the diary. It took place on a beanbag chair and was fun to watch as he went down on her before hammering away at her lovely pussy. She finished him off with some oral and a handjob and he blew a small load.

Summary: By today's standards the movie is woefully outdated but if you compare it to releases made at the same time, it was actually pretty solid as a feature and as a sex story. It brought back fond memories of some of the performers, most of whom were looking good, and while I think it displayed Sander's writing talent, the sex should've been a bit more integral to the movie (as in: longer scenes, more sex). I'm going to rate it as Recommended for any fans of the cast as well as those wanting to see the roots of Wicked Pictures better efforts. Others may disagree but it was pretty good for all its limitations.
