Extra's: Like most Sin City titles (Mayhem being their line of more extreme porn), this DVD had a lot of decent extras. There was a 6.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jason Silver that showed the cast preparing for their scenes and goofing off, a series of five short interviews with the women, a mini-biography of the entire cast (male and female), some trailers, a photogallery, and a compilation of the pop shots from the scenes. Considering the length of the feature itself, these extras were pretty solid and all added some value to the replay aspect of the DVD.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that porn is known for. The colors were sometimes too saturated, giving them a darker tone than I prefer and the flesh tones suffered at times as a result. There were few artifacts and little compression noise to speak of but the camera work sometimes seemed amateurish and ill conceived, although I guess it could be argued that this lent a raw look to the action. The audio was presented in stereo English but there was no real separation between the channels and the dynamic range was nothing to write home about. Mayhem is Sin City's line of extreme sex videos, not the line given to technical excellence (at least so far, I keep hoping they'll improve).

Body of Review: Fans of porn can often find a performer trying to break out from their usual duties in order to go behind the camera and direct. Interestingly enough, there are few directors in porn capable of giving more than a workman-like approach to their craft so the transition for the meat puppets is easier than most of you think. Simply place a camera in their hand, have them continue to work as always and you have the making of a performer turned director. One such guy is porn stud Alex Sanders. Known as much for his Fabio style mane of hair, the guy has been around for years to bone some of the best babes in the jizz bizz. In the Mayhem title Ass Stickers, he shows that he's just as capable as the pack at directing with a focus on anal and Asian gals in five scenes. Here's what the back box cover said about the movie: "Welcome to the land of the Rising Moon, where 5 nasty little Gaping Geishas are getting bent over and reamed with giant throbbing cocks as stiff as samurai swords. Jayna Oso is one happy little ass slut after getting her butthole stuffed by Julian St. Jox. Jazlyn is in for some serious rectal wrecking when Devlin Weed unleashes his massive fuck tool on her quivering little butthole. Alex Sanders" If this sounds like fun to you, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting that every scene had an Asian gal, anal sex, and pretty much everything you'd expect of the DVD:

Scene One: Jayna, wearing a form-fitting black dress, started things off by teasing the camera as she walked up the steps to a luxurious house. She's hot and wanted to get some relief so she went in and offered herself up to the porn gods. After showing the viewer her perfect ass, Alex sends in Julian to do the honors and the couple get right to the action. The oral was a bit tamer than expected and the straight sex fairly average but she seemed to really enjoy the anal action, both with her partner as well as a large black dildo. It ended when she pushed the cream pie out of her ass but fans will note that she did a lot of ATM too.

Scene Two: Jazlyn, the gal on the left side of the front DVD cover was up next. She also had some tease footage at the beginning of her scene but it was shorter and not as convincing to me. Devlin was her partner here and the two wasted no time by getting into some oral action before a little bit of vaginal boning. The focus here was on the anal, as to be expected in an anal release, and the coupling seemed to be fairly warm if not as solid as Jayna's earlier scene but it was shorter in length too (not Devlin, the running time of the scene). It wasn't bad but it really had little special going for it unless you like the over the top moaning she gave as evidence of orgasming (I didn't believe her).

Scene Three: Lyla, a generic Asian gal with a pushed in face and very lean body, was up next. She pranced around in a skin-tight red dress and did her own version of Ebony and Ivory with Sledge and Chris. They did a lot of oral, a fair amount of vaginal and a lengthy DP that included the large dildo at the end (she wasn't big enough to take more than the tip of it inside her ass). Alex was a bit heavy handed as he forced things too far but the scene itself was the most extreme of the show. In terms of heat and chemistry, this was one of those cases where the mechanical aspects of the sex were more important than the fun so I didn't really enjoy it all that much.

Scene Four: Mika, one of the most experienced gals of the movie, sadly wasn't allowed to provide the tease footage that the other gals were shown in. That's a shame since it helps make the scenes better by virtue of warming up the audience as much as the performers. Alec was her partner here and she kept him busy by spreading her legs for him to have a snack on her crack. Her oral to him wasn't all that great but they both kicked it up a notch when she started vocalizing her warmth for the camera. The anal action was very warm and she took the load as well as any other gal of the movie, just as she did a fair amount of ATM (more than some, less than others) to make the circus act sex fans happy.

Scene Five: Roxy, bent over on the front DVD cover, gave the viewer a treat by wearing a French Maid outfit. I've always like that kind of thing, even if it didn't stay on long enough to fully appreciate. Alex saved her for his own scene and you'll see the reason why if you watch the scene. She was energetic and enthusiastic, giving her all in each of the three major chapters of the scene (oral, straight and anal). He was up to the challenge as well, boning her like he was on fire, and the scene was solid as a result.

Summary: I hate to be the one to damn a movie with faint praise but aside from a couple of scenes, most of the movie seemed a bit generic in nature. I've watched other releases that made better use of the tease footage, better use of the Asian theme, and even had better technical values so I'm going to suggest you Rent It first in order to protect your hard earned cash. While some of the gals were blazingly hot to look at, others looked like they were picked up off the Santa Monica strip in the red light zone with little going for them except a willingness to bone on camera for a couple extra bucks. As always, decide how much you like the cast and act accordingly, just keep Alex in mind since he's still growing as a director and it may take a while before he reaches his full potential.
