Addicted is, quite simply, a porno flick that's essentially one long commercial. (Pun not intended.) During the opening credits, there's a nod to Phallix, a manufacturer of glass dildos. When I saw this, I didn't think much of it, and imagined it was just like giving a composer or costume designer credit. Wrong. Following the credits are scenes in which the dildo proves to be the star, not any of the actors.

The first scene, starring Cassie Courtland and Lee Stone, is okay. In fact, some of it is very hot. She stars by masturbating with one of the dildos until Stone comes into the room and goes down on her. They eventually fuck in the doggy position before the scene changes. And in every scene that follows, the dildo makes an appearance, whether it's scene involving group sex, a man and a woman, or two women, such as Lexxie Tyler and Brooke Haven. Typically the toy is sitting on a table, long and gleaming, until one of the girls either fellates it or slides it into her pussy. If you're into toys, then maybe this movie will turn your crank. But it didn't do much for me because I can't stand commercials (I'm not too into toys either), and when I'm looking to get off, advertising is the last thing I want to watch.

Production Values: The disc looks and sounds great, except for during a commercial for Phallix. (Yes, there's an ad spot for it, as if the whole movie isn't enough.) There's lots of chapter stops so you can seek out the good stuff.

Extras: There are a number of extras on the Addicted disc, including a bonus scene in which there are no dildos. In the scene, a pretty brunette with pierced nipples tantalizes the viewer by asking him/her if he/she wants to fuck her. She fondles her tits and ass before she takes off her black bustier. Then she sits down on a couch and flashes her pierced clit before a guy (hey, where did he come from?) comes in and she blows him. Then she climbs on top on him for a good reaming. I liked this scene a lot (no Phallix toys!) and if you're looking for (another?) scene to jerk it to, check it out.

Other extras include interviews with the cast (Cassie Courtland was a criminal science major in college—who knew?), a "Pick Your Pleasure" gallery (choose from doggy, missionary, blow job, etc.), a photo gallery, and the aforementioned Phallix ad. Whoo-hoo.

Concluding Thoughts: Addicted was a big disappointment. The cover shows Courtland with a big, fat cock in her pussy and that made me think I was in for a down-and-dirty fuck fest. Instead it turned out to be a big, long commercial. What a bummer. If you're into sex toys and you don't mind blatant product placement, you may want to check out Addicted. Otherwise, Skip It and get your fix somewhere else.
