Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. The picture was a bit better than in a few earlier volumes but still wasn't up to Hustler's usual high standards. The audio was in stereo with minimal separation between the channels and somewhat clear vocals.

Body of Review: Guys like the idea of watching cute coeds having sex so a number of series in the adult world have popped up to address that demand. With Real College Girls 9, the latest in the series to show actual college students earning their way through school, we get to see more average looking gals work it. Like in the last release, Volume 8, the quality of talent varied a lot but there was some fun to be had. Each scene started off with a short interview where the gal would show her college ID before engaging her sex drive with some unknown stranger. Here's a breakdown of the scenes:

Scene One: Modesto Junior College: Demi, a whiny brat who wasted her interview fussing about a lack of government handouts, took on two unnamed guys in oral and straight sex while Tina assisted with camera duties (she was the hostess). The sex wasn't bad and the guys figured out a good way to shut the gal up (by filling her mouth). Fair.

Scene Two: Los Angeles Trade Technical CollegeKylie and Layla had a scene with Brett after the hostess, Friday, argued with Layla about her eligibility to be in the movie. Hotel room sex with Friday joining in. Warm.

Scene Three: Riverside Community College: Anika and her fiancé Dirk, had a scene together along with Xavier in a room. Pretty tame.

Scene Four: Golden West College: Jerri and Kris had a lesbian scene together in an apt. It wasn't a bad scene but it was somewhat limited. Kris had a large set of breasts and even Ander kept glancing at them. Warmish.

Scene Five: Chaffey CollegeDawn, an arty type student with a big forehead, started masturbating to get ready for an unnamed guy. He showed up and they had what appeared to be mechanical sex without any chemistry. Pass.

Summary: I'm rating this as a Rent It since the quality of the talent was questionable at best. I know a number of fans probably think this is a great series, and it has a few moments of warmth, but there should be better and longer sex scenes and the politics should be left at home. I admit that I liked seeing Tina as one of the hostesses since she retired awhile back, although her bright red hair looked a bit off-putting. Check this one out if you really like actual college students having amateur sex on camera.
