Extra's: The best extra for me was the inclusion of an 8 minute Behind the Scenes feature. There was some sex taking place but little you wouldn't see inside the movie but it did showcase a few of the performers in a nice light. I wished it were longer but the feature itself was pretty lengthy for Hustler so I didn't fuss too loudly. The next best extra was the bonus scene but it lasted almost 30 seconds so I can't, in good conscience, give a whole lot of credit for it. There was a set of trailers, a photogallery, and a director's biography with a list of who's whom in the chapter menu (I prefer having the cast list in the extras section of the DVD though), to go with the spam.

Audio/Video Quality: Barely Legal Ski Camp was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally shot by master director Clive McLean. While Clive is no Jim Holliday (rest in peace old friend), he managed to get the lighting right and minimize the grain more than some of his colleagues have done of late (at Hustler). Some of the camera angles were a bit off though, giving me the impression of a single camera in many scenes, and the use of close-ups was overdone to the point where some footage was lost that fans want to see (the squirting comes to mind but that wasn't the only thing). Otherwise, the colors were accurate, the fleshtones solid, and the DVD didn't appear to have any compression artifacts ruining the action. The audio was presented in stereo English and while there was no discernable separation between the channels and limited dynamic range, you could hear the noises of sex taking place easier than the background slip ups that crept in from time to time.

Body of Review: Hustler has long been a place where younger women could feel at home as performers due in large part to the Barely Legal series that has been a part of the empire for years now. Fans of gals that are in their late teens and early twenties have long known that despite what Howard Stern once said, the majority of the series (and related spin-offs), showcase younger gals having fun to various degrees. One of the more recent spin-offs was Barely Legal Summer Camp and while summer fun is always the best in my book, director Clive McLean has now gone the opposite direction and made Barely Legal Ski Camp to address the lack of snow bunny action in Hustler's movies. The movie followed the same formula the Summer camp series has had with the gals from various backgrounds having sex with one another and the camp instructors in minimalist settings with a bit of fun footage as they played in the snow to help maintain the fun quotient. If this sounds good to you, read the following breakdown of scenes by cast and actions, noting that no condoms were used in the making of the movie:

Scene One: Audrey and Kimberly started off the scene in bed by trying to keep warm in the freezing cabin but they made it to the larger cabin to get busy with Cytherea, Jayna, and Naudia, in a lesbian orgy of sorts. Cytherea did her usual pissing/squirting thing (although not as much as usual) and the fireplace looked like a cozy place for them to get busy sucking, licking, rubbing and fingering one another. Audrey was the most extreme of the cast this time, taking dildos in her pussy and ass before licking them clean, but it was an enjoyable scene overall.

Scene Two: Kathleen, the newcomer displayed on the front cover's left side (second from the top), was up first in a scene with Jay in front of the fireplace after everyone broke into smaller groups to leave them alone. She still had her baby fat here and that enhanced her look in terms of the barely legal concept, with Jay getting hard just watching her half dressed. The sex was somewhat unremarkable other than her cuteness factor being so high and both of them managed to give and receive oral before the vaginal plowing took place. Fans will note that her "Hello Kitty" tattoo on her bikini line made for easy identification and her skill with a meat pipe wasn't bad for a newbie.

Scene Three: Cytherea, the most established gal of the show (who made repeated references to the other barely legal movies she's been in), had a scene with Joey in the room with the fireplace. She was the sexual aggressor here (shown on the second spot down on the right hand side of the front DVD cover) and her over-the-top performance was as solid as ever (you'll either love her or hate her, depending on how much you like her normal act) as she blew him like a seasoned professional. He was no slouch in the oral department either and gave as good as he got before the two boned in a few positions to get her off. Her squirt routine wasn't caught on camera very well here (it looked even more like pissing than usual) but I give her credit for not acting like she was positioned every five minutes (a porn norm these days).

Scene Four: Naudia, one of the cutest gals in the movie (third down on the left hand side), put her all natural body to the test with old man Nick by, you guessed it, the fireplace. He played the father of one of the gals, a fitting role for someone his age, and she played the little strumpet that showed him sex was okay. Her sexual skills were not as developed as some of the others but that lent an air of authenticity to the scene with Nick acting like a jerk as he barked out orders. He initially refused to go down on her and started hammering away as he pulled her hair but it was an energetic ride to say the least. She then did PTM (pussy to mouth) before he finally gave her some oral, rode some more, and jerked off a moderate load to her lovely face.

Scene Five: Alexis, playing the bleached blonde daughter of Nick (located on the upper left hand side of the front DVD cover), took care of Alex by the now-infamous fireplace on the couch. Her face was kind of plain (sorry, I call them like I see them) but her body was smoking hot if you enjoy the lean, all natural types the Barely Legal series is based on. Alex worked her up orally before she showed a bit of sexual talent herself in the oral department. The two were soon covered in a sheen of sweat as they screwed to a moderate tempo and I have to say that I enjoyed her hip grinding towards the end. This gal has a lot of potential and I hope to see more of her.

Scene Six: Audrey, the redhead with a kinky mane of hair seen on the upper right hand side (as well as the middle of the group shot), had her scene with madman Otto after frolicking in the snow with her friends (rolling naked in the snow seemed like a bad idea to me but I left the cold for Texas years ago). I had hoped to see them in a different setting since the movie seemed kind of cheap by using the same room over and over again. Thankfully, they shot it in another room and she even did anal after a heated blowjob. Her energy levels were solid and the scene rocked because of it although this was another case of missing some of the action due to camera angles.

Scene Seven: Kimberly, one of the busiest gals in porn over recent months, showed why she too has been in great demand as she attacked Alex in his bed. She was the gal located on the lower right hand side of the front DVD cover for those who care. He went down on her and she returned the favor with a bit of gusto, then riding his semi-hard cock as much as she was able to do. The way her ass jiggled was pretty cool and at times it seemed almost like a grudge fuck between them although it ended far too soon for my tastes.

Summary: Barely Legal Ski Camp was a lot of fun to watch, even if the sex wasn't always cutting edge and the performers weren't as experienced as some of us like. I'm going to rate the movie as Recommended based on the fact that the show was true to the box cover and advertising with a bunch of attractive young gals having fun in various situations although a bit more variety might help later editions really shine. For the most part, the series has a lot to offer consumers and these spin-offs seem to appeal to the same crowd but there really needs to be some more variation in order for the releases to maintain some level of interest in those of us who've loyally following the Barely Legal series for a while.
