Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color and looked a bit better than usual here. The lighting was almost optimal most of the time and that caused the show to look pretty good. The English stereo audio was fairly clear with few problems. The DVD transfer was pretty solid with no compression artifacts noticed when I watched it. To sum it up, the show had a few moments where it was out of focus and some camera angle problems but most of the time, it looked fine.

Body of Review: Hustler is known for giving fans what they want and has been since it pushed the boundaries of adult entertainment with it's magazine so many years ago. These days, dvd is the medium by which Mr. Flynt provides us with our fix of attractive young ladies and one of his premiere series' newest titles is Barely Legal 42. The show provides 5 scenes of young women who have sex for your personal pleasure and each of them looked to be 18 (or very close to it). If you like them young and ready, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting that the scenes included no anal action this time:

Scene One: French Kiss: Emily, the interesting looking gal on the lower left side of the front DVD cover, and Nick, had a scene after he picked her up hitchhiking on the open road. The two got busy beside a pool in the backyard of a residential house. He started off by going down on her and she soon reciprocated on his penis before they boned in a few positions. It ended with a large load to her face.

Scene Two: Cum Play Croquette: Brianna, the hotty seen on the front cover (left side, second gal), and Tony, had a scene on a blanket on a lawn. The natural lighting enhanced her good looks and it started off with him orally pleasing her, both vaginally then anally until she returned the attention on his penis. She rode him in a few positions before he rubbed out a load onto her face. Yum!

Scene Three: Pussy Will Do: Maliyah and Bella, the two cuties featured on the front DVD cover, had a lesbian scene on a bed together. There was some good licking, including a 69, and then they used a glass dildo, which made for a good time. I liked that they both seemed to enjoy themselves but I wished the scene lasted longer.

Scene Four: Trailer Trash Tales: Keiko, the gal on the front DVD cover on the left side, third one down, and Alex, had a scene outside by a trailer home after he showered. The sex was mechanical at times but every once in awhile, she looked to be getting off (slightly) and that made it better than it would have been. The sex was oral and straight only before she jerked his load into her mouth.

Scene Five: Hot Dog, Hot Dick: Jennifer, one of the nicer gals at the 2004 AEE convention and the gal on the top left of the DVD cover, took on Steven at the dinner table on the backyard deck. They did oral and he spent some time fingering her before they got down to business. She seemed to enjoy the sex but it wasn't her best scene.

Summary: If you like seeing younger, less experienced gals having sex on camera, you'll probably enjoy watching most of this series. Like Volume 41, I think this one is worth a rating of Recommended. If the series would add more sex, in the form of longer scenes or an additional scene, and work on getting the women more worked up, I think it would be worth an even higher rating.
