Extra's: The first extra listed as a Behind the Scenes short lasting a bit over three minutes. I would've liked a longer version with more footage of the entire cast but it helped add some value for me, however limited. The next up was a photogallery with a bunch of still pictures and a cool set of solo masturbation scenes by each of the gals (also very short in length). There was a set of pop shots, some trailers, and a double sided DVD cover as well but they weren't all that important to me.

Audio/Video Quality: Girly Thoughts 3 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Guy Capo for DVSX. The colors were accurate, the grain minimal, the lighting fairly solid, and the composition of the shots pleasing to the eye. The picture was a bit darker than usual and there were some compression artifacts with some video noise so my overall assessment of the picture quality was less favorable than some of Guy's recent releases. The stereo audio was pretty basic, as expected, but it didn't detract from the heated scenes included on the DVD.

Body of Review: Guy Capo is one of the more personable directors I've met in my years of covering the porn world. He starts out as a gregarious guy and if he lets you into his circle of confidence, you quickly find out his mind is always working and his libido is always searching for something bigger and better to offer fans. I don't pretend to be inside his closest circle of friends but I watched him work the crowd while Vicky Vette was gyrating within a few feet of him, proving to me he had something to say to draw attention away from the curvy hotty in question. Now that he's working for the DVSX company, he's less focused on the circus act sex than on making more people happy, with his latest release being Girly Thoughts 3. The movie is much like early volumes of Hustler's Barely Legal series where a woman jots down her fantasies before the viewer gets to see her live them out on camera. If this concept appeals to you, especially because the gals were fairly fresh for porn, read the following breakdown of scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms weren't used:

Scene One: Courtney Coxx and Vanessa Michaels, a couple of bleached blondes with lean bodies (Vanessa is on the left hand side of the front DVD cover), were up first with Alex Sanders in a scene taking place in a living room. The gals shared him orally to start off the show with the camera circling them as it looked for the best angle to stick with. The gals left slobber trails hanging from their mouths as they gave him a sloppy blowjob but they really started to shine when they rode his penis and face simultaneously. They weren't the most energetic gals I've seen in recent months but they did seem to have fun with him and I'll look forward to seeing more of them in the future. Ménage a trios scenes are sometimes difficult to capture properly as one partner always seems to be left out of the fun too much but I think this was very balanced compared to most. It ended with the splooge to both their faces and some licking, but overall it was only a decent scene (not Guy's best work to date).

Scene Two: Megan Jones, a kind of lean brunette wearing a yellow skirt and tube top, was up next in perhaps the most playful scene of the show as she was chased around the house by James Deen (who looked like he could be Dale DaBone's kid brother). The sex started off with some straight up boning to her pussy without the warming up most scenes have, lending it an air of contrast to the formulaic porn most of us are used to. She rode him well enough but as the scene progressed, it seemed that something had been edited out. She also lost her energy fairly quickly so the initial rush of the chase must've worn her out and the scene soon became a bore for me.

Scene Three: Brianna Beach, the cutie featured on the center of the front DVD cover, was up next in a day care center scenario bound to get more viewers running late to pick up their kids in the future as she gave Lee Stone a little workout of his own. I haven't seen this gal around but she was cute, had an all natural body, and a demeanor that told me she wasn't as experienced as most gals in porn seem to be these days. She tore his clothes off and began working his shaft with her tongue although she couldn't deep throat him as well as some of his partners have over the years. That didn't last very long though as she climbed aboard him to ride like she was in heat (big time!) in several positions. The two were coated in a thin sheen of sweat by the time they were through and I found it to be quite a stimulating workout.

Scene Four: Keeani Lei, a curvy Asian gal, was up next after having a nightmare in her sleep on a small bed at night. She rode her pillow so whatever she was thinking about must've become fulfilling but it wasn't long before perverted Nick Manning had joined her. In a sense, I could see why she tossed and turned in her sweaty nightmare considering she had to screw him (kidding!) but she was one of the more ambitious gals, doing oral, vaginal, anal and ATM among other things. It wasn't a great scene by any means but if you're a fan of hers, you'll probably like it more than I did. Like most of the scenes, it ended with him rubbing out a load onto her face.

Scene Five: Memphis Monroe, the cute looking gal on the right hand side of the front DVD cover (she looked much like pop star Christina Aguilera), was up next as she gave police cadet Chris Cannon, something to search and protect. While he looked funny without a gun at his side (maybe California has different cops than the rest of the country), he could've passed as a security guard and she looked hot enough for both of them. He initiated the oral this time, fingering her as he snacked on her crack, with her lying back on the bed to receive his administrations nicely. I would've preferred she provided more verbal stimulation than ohhing and ahhing but it was again a change of pace some of you might agree was nice. Her oral looked to be somewhat amateurish (more like the kind of blowjob you get at a strip club or by a girlfriend when her monthly visitor is in town than anything as professional as most porn performers provide). Once completely hard, they boned handily with her showing enough potential to keep me on the lookout for her future work. It ended with a nice titty fuck followed by her jerking him off to another blowjob; again, a nice change of pace.

Scene Six: Amber Peach, a sort of generic looking gal with light hair, was up next in a scenario where she was at her therapist's office with Kyle Stone doing the honors. I thought it was funny how the story tore into psychotherapy and Kyle's sense of comic timing is always good in a scene like this so I sat back and enjoyed the ride. M

Summary: Girly Thoughts 3 was worth a Rent It in my book since I prefer to see talent over new faces any day of the week. Still, the gals here looked the part, were generally young and cute enough to provide some fantasy aspect for those of you not caring about their lack of experience at milking a nut, and as such your mileage will vary from mine. The visual elements weren't as solid as most of Guy's releases for DVSX but they compared well enough to some of the competition so only real sticklers will fuss about the problems much. DVSX offers a wide range of titles worth checking out, and this is one of them, but the rough edges still need to be polished more before the series becomes a keeper in my book. Check it out though and maybe you'll find it more worthy of your hard earned cash since Guy is one of those directors that could really be something big if given the chance (you simply have to see the gleam in his eyes when talking shop with him to understand what I mean).
