The audio and video quality, while an obvious step below some of Private's other features, was still much better than a lot of state side productions. The music however, was a distraction as it felt as though the soundtrack was purchased out of a local Costa Rican's trunk with a lot of new wave techno sound combined with traditional steel drum sound native to many parts of the Caribbean. The soundtrack took away from the visual focus of the DVD. Good thought to incorporate some of the local flavor into the movie, but poor execution on the part of the director. The picture was clear and there were no signs of rough editing. Four of the six scenes were shot outdoors, yet there were none of the accompanying lighting issues that tend to occur.

Extras:

The DVD starts out with a trailer for the new blockbuster trilogy, Private Chateau directed by Pierre Woodman. The trailer runs for around 4 minutes and looks stunning in the same genre of other blockbusters by Private such as Tatiana & Gladiator. Additional Trailers for the title feature and other titles such as "The Private life of Christina Belle", "Beauties of the Tropix", "The Private Adventures of Pierre Woodman 2", "XXX 19" and "Cum on my Face 1" are also present. Beauty in the Tropix looks like it was shot with the same cast at the same time in Costa Rica, as some of the same models even wore the same swimsuits. There is a behind the scenes featurette narrated by the director as they travel through various areas of Costa Rican landscape, searching for shots. The 6 minutes of footage is highlighted by the pint-sized director chasing wild geese from his set and standing next to the incredibly tall Jennifer in four inch heels. There are photo books from the feature, behind the scenes photos and cast members with their nationality and credits under the Private label.

Body of Review:

Private has the reputation of providing scorching hardcore sex shot at the highest production levels in exotic locations. This Private DVD release is based on a team of models hired to do a photo shoot in the Caribbean. The models are working on promoting the "Private" brand of energy drink and are accompanied by their producer and their photographer in beautiful Costa Rica. In typical Private fashion, the models are instructed to look in the camera during sex. This takes a little getting used to, but isn't much of a distraction after the first scene. The director seemed to focus on the hand play and did not over edit the material, creating closer to a 'natural' feel of sex.

Scene 1: Jennifer

After the crew endured a long cab drive through the steaming hot tropic, the photographer & Jennifer run off to cool down in the beautiful Caribbean surf. The Czech model, Jennifer, who bears a striking resemblance to a young Jennifer Aniston, start rolling around in the surf sand for some heavy petting and an attempted cunnilingus through her blue bikini. The pair then seeks refuge and some privacy on an inland lawn chair. Foreplay was heavy on the hands and very light on the oral sex performed on the uncut cock of the photographer. The two had missionary & reverse cowgirl sex, followed up by anal intercourse in the same positions. The grand finale was a wet & white photo shot on her stomach. Beautiful model in a scenic location, but the energy level of the sex left a lot to be desired.

Scene 2: Barbara Voice & Anita

After a tough day's shoot the producer decides to visit the local pub. In typical porno fashion, finds two lovely full figured ladies ready to service him before the second sip of his drink. Once again, the foreplay focuses on the hand action and very light on oral sex, with the producer's uncircumcised penis. Although this was a threesome, there was almost no contact between the ladies with the woman not having sex would masturbate with her fingers and later a vibrator. The attempted facial came up a little short as Anita jerked off the producer into Barbara's mouth, but ended up hitting her shoulder area. There was almost zero heat in this almost awkward scene.

Scene 3: Thalia

The diva of the model group finds herself trying to impress her newest entertainment associate with a half hearted blowjob attempt. If I were running my business in porno land, I would have said 'no sale' on the oral, but Thalia made up for it with her other talents. The scene then took a turn and got a bit rough with the prospective movie producer slapping her across the face with his dick and slapping her breasts on an outdoor patio. Thaila is then bent over a table and worked hard doggy style and then a little reverse cowgirl on a chair. They then move to the grass for little spoon anal & reverse cow girl anal as well, followed by Thaila jerking the stud off on her chin region. Despite the bad oral and borderline abuse this was an intense scene with both performers.

Scene 4: Kathy Anderson

After yet another tough day on the job dealing with half naked models, the producer once again seeks refuge in the arms of a lovely young lady. This time the loving takes place near an indoor pool area with the beautiful blonde Hungarian model, Kathy Anderson and another male associate. Kathy spends ample time working over the two, strapping men with her hands followed by some weak and short blowjob attempts. The scene is very short, but offered some well shot anal and DP action. The scene ended with Ms. Anderson jerking and blowing both men off on her face and chest. The beautiful blonde looked as though she truly enjoyed her work and thus provided tons of energy. This is a very strong scene on the DVD, despite the length.

Scene 5: Thalia & Veronika De Souza

Thaila, working on a lucrative movie deal with a major European movie director and the movie producer, finds herself with the two gentlemen and another female in the backyard of a beautiful Costa Rican estate. After a few drinks, they decide to 'have some fun'. This translates to the two brunette Eurosluts starting to kiss and caress each other in front of their audience in a brilliant tease sequence. They begin to undress each other and suckle their private parts. The two then orally assault the director with a nice double blowjob. They then pair off for some extended dual 69. This scene uses a bevy of positions, including reverse cowgirl, 69, doggy style. The foursome play off one another well and create there are very few left out participants. Thalia also receives rectal attention and a reverse cowgirl DP from the two motion picture collaborators. The shot ends with both ladies jerking off their companions, with Thalia receiving a facial and a little cum swapping with Veronika. This was by far the best scene of the movie due to the heat and the rhythm of the shots. A lot of the time, orgy scenes can be awkward, but the director did a fine job of keeping both couples on screen and involved with one another. Excellent!

Scene 6: Aliz & Suzy Carina

Thaila, the star of the photo shoot has left the Private organization for greener pastures with her movie gig, but left behind her young and innocent hair and makeup entourage in a foreign land. To be the nice guy that he is, the photographer has offered to give them a job, which of course porno speak for "Let's get it on". The two young Euro babes work the photographer over well on a private beach on lounge chairs in the Costa Rican sun. The girls pay particular attention to one another's needs as well as the photographers with nipple sucking and some labia lapping, some PTM action, and the prerequisite handy heavy jerking. This scene has by far the best oral portion of the DVD. Both girls get some reverse cow girl and take the photographer's pork sword up the butt. The scene ends with Aliz jerking off the photographer on Suzy's awaiting face. Another strong well shot scene.

Final Thoughts:

I recommend this DVD due to four of the six scenes being very strong, and even the other two scenes being very watch-able. My personal expectations for Private films are incredibly high, and this film does not disappoint.
