Extras: The best extra was the 23 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Dynomite Dolomite. It had a lot of funny bits where director Pat was screwing around and some nice footage of the hotty make up gal (Dee?) but even the female performers were getting into the fun of things by the looks of it (with some interview footage and extra nudity/sex). The only other extras were a true double sided DVD cover, a cumshot loop, and some trailers to shows like Illegal Ass, Up R Class 3, Sloppy Seconds, Spanish Harlem, and Cum Beggars 3.

Audio/Video Quality: Pure Sextacy was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Pat Myne for 3rd Degree. Like his work for Metro, the fleshtones were accurate, the composition of the shots almost always pleasing to the eye (enhancing the look of the gals in every case), a lot of eye to the details. The lighting was very good (most of the time) and this limited the grain, video noise and other potential flaws right from the starting gate. I saw no compression artifacts or video noise, making this a nice looking set of 6 scenes. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo audio was okay but like most gonzo movies, there was little to discuss other than the limited moans, groans, and dirty talk were just fine, if uneventful in most scenes once more. I spot checked the Spanish audio track but the dubbing left something to be desired and really didn't provide me with a lot of additional value.

Body of Review: Danny Case is one of my favorite unknown directors these days, regardless of which name he uses in his various projects. He likes showing off ladies in fetish attire, providing lots of tease, and tried to put performers that are into one another together to enhance the outcome of his scenes. His latest title for Third Degree is Pure Sextacy, a series of scenes that showcased yet again why Danny/Pat should get more press. The heat and passion levels of most of them was very high with solid replay value and chemistry that is not common in gonzo these days. If you like the cast or want to see some great action, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Cheating Pays: Alektra Blue, the sweaty brunette on the front DVD cover, former Vivid contract cutie Lexie Marie, and director Pat Myne, were up next as Alektra played a pissed off gal wanting revenge. Thanks to all these factors and more, I thought a rating of Highly Recommended was fair although I'll admit to being a fan of many of the ladies in addition to Pat's mannerisms with a camera as director. In short, if you're looking for fun in all the right places and want a nice variety of sex acts to repeatedly enjoy, Pure Sextacy will be one to look into as offering up some great sex without the pitiful attempts at style that too few directors can easily pull off.
