Extra's: The best extra was easily the bonus movie Web Cam Girls. I reviewed it years ago and while it wasn't the best movie ever shot, as an extra it adds substantial value. It did not appear to be edited and a full version of a movie is always appreciated as an extra. There was also a 4 minute long Behind the Scenes bit, starring Shy as she directed Tory, Nikki, and Alektra but it was way too short for my tastes. There was then a slide show, 8 trailers to Hustler and VCA titles, spam (including forced spam at the beginning of the movie you couldn't skip), and a paper insert in the DVD case for a 15 day promotional trial of the Hustler chat room/website.

Audio/Video Quality: Myxxxpornspace.com was presented in an 1.85:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Shy Love for VCA Pictures. The lighting was a mixed bit of work with some scenes in great need of more lighting to combat the multitude of shadows, also impacting the fleshtones of the performers in some cases with the background walls tinting their look more than average. The camera angles were not always favorable to the ladies and the resulting grain sometimes seemed a bit heavy but there was a solid level of detail brought out by the use of the anamorphic process that I encourage Shy and others to use more often. There were few compression artifacts in evidence here, and the mastering was pretty well done though the listed Ultra Bit encoding still shows no real improvement over anything else I've seen by other companies to warrant special mention. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital offering, with no separation and minimal music (opening and ending credits), the vocals occasionally sounding hollow but on par with other VCA titles by more established directors.

Body of Review: Shy Love is an attractive brunette gal in porn that has proven to be quite popular in the last few years as a performer. Her goal to direct has been employed by several companies, most notably for VCA Pictures of late with her release of Myxxxpornspace.com last month. The movie is a series of vignettes that take the popularity of the My Space phenomenon, much like Myplace: A Place For Whores did previously, and play it ever so slightly to give the scenarios a twist of the internet. While I really didn't think the build up was all that great this time, this was a decent early effort by Shy that showed a lot of potential by her and her crew; a potential I hope she continues to work on to make even better porn. That said, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used in any of them:

Scene One: Shy Love, the busty brunette director showcased on the right hand side of the front cover, was up first with the mighty Evan Stone. They met at a coffee house in person after finding each other online, the scenario established for the movie about a virtual dating world related to My Space. She made no promises but found him hot so they went back to a creepy alley and started feeling each other up. He rimmed and ate her (to her delight) before hammering away at her little cookie on some wooden pallets. This led to her doing some oral in PTM fashion; complete with glub glub noises some fans really enjoy hearing. After some love taps on her sweet ass, she rode him aggressively and while she was a bit too lean for me (her ribcage versus the implants was a bit awkward), the energy and chemistry they shared was very well displayed. It did take her awhile to get used to the anal action compared to the vaginal romp, but once into it, she really shined. Still, I was happy to see them revert to vaginal as she was so much better at it, resulting in the crotch pop that ended the scene.

Scene Two: Nikki Benz, the blonde gal featured on the left hand side of the cover, was up next with lovely Alektra Blue, in a porn store. Nikki played a star to Alektra's fan, soon having a lesbian romp on the counter of the makeshift store (with toys displayed on the walls in minimalist fashion). The gals would have benefited by some real meat but fans of lesbian trysts that include spitting, fingering, and oral will likely find this one a pretty decent scene nonetheless. The toy use was a bit heavy and the strap on dildo nicely applied but the two ladies, both talented gals in scenes over the years, really didn't seem to be into the action that much, weakening the scene for me.

Scene Three: Hillary Scott, perhaps the best anal princess in porn these days, was up next with Marco Banderas/Duato and Barry Scott. This multiple award winning lady looked really good and managed to convey a sense of desire for the two men, getting naked on the couch as she worked Marco orally while Barry went down on her. The lighting was substandard here, greatly in need of a C-light to show the action and reduce the shadows, but even in the worst shot scene she's ever been in, I can't imagine that Hillary would turn in a bad performance. Sexually, she did it all here with the vaginal, anal, DP and taste testing as she employed dirty talk throughout the scene. The men weren't quite up to her level of skill and the camera work did not capture her at her best but it was a decent scene that showed some potential on the part of the director at times. It ended when she took their loads to her face but she swallowed precious little of their minimal offerings of population pudding.

Scene Four: Lyla Lei, a lean little Asian cutie, was up next on a plain bed with Jack Lawrence, after they communicated via email and the phone. He orally worked her over and felt her up as she pawed him, each showing a mutual attraction for the other. Her looks weren't all that special to me but I liked the all natural body as a contrast to the other ladies in the movie, and as far as realism was concerned, they began the scene a lot more life like then the others. The sexual tricks were the same as always with each giving the other head, screwing vaginally with a modicum of energy, and then moving to a more passive anal. It ended with a pop to the face and seemed to provide more then a little replay value but even though they liked each other, their ability to convey it wasn't the best.

Scene Five: Tory Lane, a personal favorite of mine in terms of sexual performances, was up last as she prepared to feature dance by taking on third stringer mope squad member, Trent Soluri, on a generic couch. He brought her an industrial sized neck massager (look, I know they aren't used for that but it tells you what was used) and she started masturbating with it as he rubbed and licked her. She inhaled his average cock in her mouth and worked him up to a frenzy, moving to a number of penetrative vaginal positions afterwards. She was decidedly more active in some than in others but she looked pretty good as he drilled away, eventually leaving her with a semen mustache. In all, it showed her range of acting ability (looking like she was having a great time with a guy like him) and but for the overactive camera work, it was pretty good.

Summary: Myxxxpornspace.com by director Shy Love for VCA Pictures was clearly a Rent It for me. The technical matters needed a lot of polishing up, the pairings were not always the best suited for such a movie, and the scenario set ups lacked some of the appeal that similar efforts such as Myplace: A Place For Whores have provided. Still, the overall fuck for the buck of the DVD offering, especially because it included a second full length movie, was pretty high so your mileage may vary. In general then, Myxxxpornspace.com was worth a look for fans of the cast and showed the evolution of Shy as a director more than a performer.
