Audio/Video: Vivid has put together a great disc here. The audio and video are amazingly the worst part, and they are not bad at all. The video is also offered in multiple angles, which is always an impressive touch.

"The Skies Have Never Been Wetter

The first seven were deadly. The Eighth is dead on.

Paul Thomas spins a tangled tale of eros and intrigue, with four interwoven couples, the Hungarian mob, and accountant, and escort and a cop named Danny. Join international superstar Dasha in one of her final adult appearances, in what will surely be one of Paul Thomas' most awarded films. The Eighth Sin."

The Eighth Sin has been touted as Vivid's release of the year, and was featured in DVD Talk's Blue Room as a title to look forward to as a sophisticated entry in the adult movie game. Vivid's big money releases are always interesting to say the very least about them.

The film is divided into four sections, each featuring a different couple. The stories all come together in some way or another, kind of like Traffic but with more sex...and less crack.

The first section features Rick and Victoria (Holly Hollywood). Victoria is a beautiful starlet and Rick is her producer/director husband. Rick is unsatisfied with his sex life, and wants to experiment in exhibitionism. Victoria is happy to help, but eventually becomes disenchanted with the idea.

The scenes with Rick and Victoria are all in the theme of a couple searching for sexual adventure, mostly with exhibitionism. The two have sex in front of their neighbors, other couples, and Rick has Veronica parade around naked. The acting is actually pretty good here, and you get the sense of the tortured relationship. The sex is also top notch, with lots of variety in situation and positions. One note; the sex in this movie is the closest to 'real' sex I have seen in a porn. The situations are spot on as are the types of positions used. Kudos to Vivid on this.

Chili and Jimmy

Chili is a stripper/exotic entertainer, and Jimmy is Rick's limo driver/jealous boyfriend of Chili's. Chili, played by Rebecca Love, has a fantastically large rack. I was very impressed that a girl of her size can even walk with breasts that large. Thankfully, she does much more than walk. And she does with way more than just Jimmy, much to his chagrin. The sex in this bit features Chili justifying Jimmy's jealousy and paranoia as she cheats on him to make money. There was one error in the audio that I noticed in the Chili and Jimmy bit. You can hear the director giving directions in one part. Not a huge deal, but just something that was missed.

Eva and Tom

Eva, played by covergirl and international megastar Dasha, is a mail order bride who has some secrets to hide from her new lover Tom (who is Rick's accountant). Dasha still looks good after all these years and definitely knows how to turn in a great performance. Her scenes focus around her being a huge slut basically, which is fine by me. She does a strip tease and masturbation combo, which looks awesome.

Sara and Danny

Sara is Tom's sister, who happens to be the lonely housewife of Danny the cop. Sara turns to an online friend for some friendship and comfort after she becomes fed up with her insensitive and selfish husband, Danny. Her online lover turns out to be Rick. The two eventually meet up and sex ensues (what a shock).

I think the scenes with Sara are some of the best in the movie, see the above picture for the kind of adorable innocence some pornstars are able to bring to a picture.

Extras: This disc is absolutely stacked. Just to get it out of the way, I will say this: you get an entire second movie for free with this disc. Seven Deadly Sins comes packaged in its entirety with The Eighth Sin. On top of that doozy, are two photo galleries with a combined 15-20 photos. Also included are a position room, Vivid Girl extras (5 additional scenes), a twelve minute behind the scenes featurette, four Vivid previews, adult chat promos, web links, and multi angle controls.

Concluding words: This movie was incredible. This was one of those few porn features that tries, and succeeds at being the whole package. The plot is good (for porn), the sex is incredible, everyone involved is attractive and fits their part well. The directing was fabulous, there were no moments where I slapped my head out of frustration with angles or poor shooting spots. One of the best porns I have ever seen.
