This shot on digital video production looks pretty clean presented here in a reasonably stable 1.33.1 fullframe presentation. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots and a noticeable bit of mpeg compression evident throughout in the darker scenes. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on, and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything looks as good as you'd realistically expect it to.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue comes through cleanly and clearly, as do all of the moans and groans. Background music sounds good even if the levels do tend to fluctuate quite a bit from scene to shining scene but aside from that there isn't much to whine about here. The audio is fine.

Extras:

The main extra feature on this disc is a behind the scene documentary that features some of the girls getting into their make up a bit, interviews conducted on set with most of the performers and some warm up bits where they're going over what they're going to do and how they're going to do it. James Deen gets a chance to ham it up a fair bit here and he's pretty funny when he does. The whole thing runs just shy of eight-minutes and while it's not going to change your life, it's worth a look none the less.

Aside from that, we also get a photo gallery of hardcore stills, two trailers for Suthern Cumfort, one trailer for Blacklight Beauty, a trailer for Naked And Famous animated menus, scene selection and performer selection.

Final Thoughts:

While the last two scenes are quite good, the five that come before it are pretty average. The girls look nice and those who must own everything 'alt' while dig what's been done on this release. For the rest, Suthern Cumfort makes for a decent rental on a cold winter night.
