Extra's: The best extra this time was an 11 minute blowjob scene where Pandora showed off her body and oral talents on director Robert Herrera for the movie Blow Job Auditions made on 6/9/2004. Okay, Robert isn't exactly the studliest of porn meat puppets but he was at least as talented as Chris Charming, Scott Lyons, or a number of others in the industry as she slobbed his knob. Personally, I preferred the 24 minute long Behind the Scenes feature since it allowed interviewer Don Fischer a chance to let us in on the cast (as well as show clips from the scenes) but your mileage will vary. There was also a positions room and photogallery but I didn't really care much about them.

Audio/Video Quality: Dripping Wet Sex 12 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as originally shot by director Robert Herrera. The lighting was slightly above average (maybe a little more fill light at times would've been better) and the colors were solid with little grain or video noise to speak of. I saw the occasional compression artifact but not often enough to really get in the way of the sex. I thought the composition of the shots was generally favorable to the female cast and Robert showed a bit of care in this aspect of the movie (with some decent editing to help too). The stereo audio was generally good but there was some background noise (especially in the last scene), little separation between the channels, and a limited dynamic range to don't expect a lot here.

Body of Review: While new porn companies spring up all the time, there is also a trend of consolidation going on. It wasn't long ago that Hustler swallowed Vivid and VCA and now Pure Play Media seems intent on doing likewise by bringing Seymore Butts and Simon Wolf into its fold. As a related development, Simon Wolf Productions seems to be spinning off a sister company led by director Robert Herrera, still under the Pure Play umbrella but now just as Illicit Pictures. The first release for Robert that I've seen is Dripping Wet Sex 12, the sequel to Dripping Wet 11; a series that showcased young gals having sex in friendly surroundings (usually on a couch or by a fireplace). This volume in the long running series emphasized anal sex with each gal participating in some cornhole action and a lot to like given their looks. If this sounds good to you, read my breakdown of the scenes by cast and action:

Scene One: Staci Thorn, a bleached blonde with long legs and a keen smile, started of the show by joining muscular Tommy Gunn on a couch. She engaged in a little bit of foreplay but showed a desire to suck him off that he relished as she really cleaned his pipes thoroughly before he returned the favor. The scene then progressed to vaginal screwing with her being very vocal about wanting more. As advertised, she then took a pounding anal and the entire scene was very well done with a lot of chemistry to go with the energy. Yum!

Scene Two: Rachel Luv, a gal that could pass for Claudia Christian's kid sister, was up next with porn veteran Randy Spears on a bed. There was no introduction to the sex, and he began it by licking her breasts a bit before they stripped off their clothes. Neither of them did the best oral on the other but the screwing portion seemed pretty good considering her inexperience on camera. Most of the work was done by him at first but once in cowgirl position, she began to really shine as she rode him hard (and wet). She seemed less able to handle the anal action but other than her annoying "uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh" as he gave her colon a workout, it was a pretty good scene too.

Scene Three: Missy Monroe, the bleached blonde on the front DVD cover, looked somehow different to me as she warmed up with Jack Spade on the couch. He sucked her feet, rubbed her breasts and otherwise warmed her up for the scene; making a lot of eye contact with her that seemed to connect the two on a couple of different levels. The couple did some fierce oral on one another and each hole was plundered in a passionate fashion. She has long been known as an extreme queen so it came as no surprise that she was perhaps the best of the cast here with him handling his end of the scene better than I've seen him to date.

Scene Four: Katerina, a lean brunette with a tiny pussy, began her scene with Randy Spears on a couch with the two making out in a slow burn fashion. He readied her by fingering her and going down on her and I always thought she enjoyed it a lot. Her oral wasn't as strong but she really turned up the heat when she rode him in cowgirl position. Her pale skin wasn't as appealing to me as a tan would've been and a few more pounds wouldn't hurt her look but she had some serious energy going for her. The anal was weak compared to the other scenes and I believed it was her first time on camera but this might appeal to some of you as well.

Scene Five: Vanilla Skye, a very cute brunette with a nice set of curves, was up next as she took on both Talon and Alberto Rey on the floor by the fireplace. They spent more than average time warming her up by licking, kissing and rubbing her; all of which added to the heat of the scene. She then took turns blowing them and letting them plow her pussy before the inevitable anal and DP. For the most part, she was a little firebrand that was very talented and vocal; making this another standout scene for me with lots of replay value.

Summary: Dripping Wet Sex 12 is not going to revolutionize the porn industry and it's not going to be held up as the pinnacle of porn but it was fun enough to watch that I gave it a rating of Recommended. The cast was attractive, the sex was always at least fun to watch (with some blazingly hot scenes too), and the production values enough to warrant more than a passing look for fans. The extras helped add some value as well and I hope Illicit Picture/Robert Herrera continue to strengthen their hand by pushing the envelope further in the future (offering lengthier movies and better extras for starters). The Dripping Wet Sex series has long been one of the most interesting series released by the company so with a bit more nurturing, I think it'd be even better.
