Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as most porn is made these days. The movie was advertised as being made in "Ultra Bit", leading me to think of the mainstream equivalent (Super Bit, for those living under a rock). While the picture was very sharp and clear in the scenes that were well lit, in the darker scenes, it wasn't nearly as good. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 stereo English and while it was crystal clear, the levels varied a whole lot, making watching the movie something rather difficult.

Body of Review: VCA has long been one of those companies that made excellent feature porn with high-end production values. Second only to Wicked Pictures in years gone by, recent cutbacks have negatively impacted them more than I care to think about. Probably the only consistently decent director they have at the moment is Jim Holliday, a controversial figure these days to be sure. One of their former contract performers turned director, Chloe, had a lot less success at the helm of some low budget movies for the company, further spurring cutbacks in their productions that left me disappointed. The latest release, Candy's Cock Show, was a movie about a talk show hostess played by Dana Vespoli (not Brittney Skye as the front DVD cover would lead you to believe). Ratings are down and her producer, Eric Masterson, wants to sample her goodies in order to keep her employed. The plot was minimal and the sex not really up to par either but if you're a fan, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Chloe, the lean, mean , anal queen, had a scene with Randy in a bed. As the director, writer and producer of the movie, it was Chloe's prerogative to start off the movie with her own scene. Some would even argue that it was a good idea based on her plentiful sexual talents too but I'm not sure. After all, while she can play a great tune on a skin flute, making sure to keep eye contact and augment her suction ability with her hands, by starting off with her in a scene, it sets the bar really high for the rest of the cast. After the oral, he went to pumping away on her pussy like it was his last piece for a month. She was less vocal than usual, making the odd comment or two but hardly worth mentioning, and then he popped off on her stomach. What could've been a great scene was actually far weaker than I'd have guessed going into it.

Scene Two: Dana, a lean little hotty that has developed a large fan following over the last year, had a scene with Eric on a couch. He pressured her to have sex as a condition of employment and she must've figured it wasn't that big of a deal (literally!) so she started in by dropping to her knees and orally stimulating him. She took some measure of care with it, as though she were a diamond cutter looking for the right way to handle it, but the tempo built up rather quickly and she continued pleasing him like the professional she was. After he was good and hard, he boned her for a few minutes in several positions, and jerked off on her leg.

Scene Three: Brittney, in a scene portraying someone else (another porn star), had a short scene with Dez. She's the blonde on the front DVD cover that is advertised as though she's the lead of the movie (she wasn't). She started off by blowing him and using some artful skills that she's picked up over the years to give him pleasure, keeping eye contact, deep throating and all the rest of the action you'd expect. The couple then boned rather aggressively with her pumping her ass up and down like a speeding locomotive in the bathroom stall. He finished it by jerking off onto her abdomen in this okay scene.

Scene Four: Wendy, the blonde hotty that has been in the jizz bizz for a long time, started off by flashing Eric at his desk. Most fans know they are a real life couple and the chemistry was evident as they did one another that the heat was pretty solid. Summary: I liked the cast but thought they were nothing close to their best here and the technical values were not up to the better releases of VCA so I'm going to sadly rate this as a Skip It to anyone except the absolute biggest fans of the cast. Feature porn is not supposed to be this bad and even Vivid has done a better job much of the time. Without bagging too much, VCA is known for their past successes and they still make some good porn (again, mostly their top of the line releases and Jim Holliday movies) but this wasn't one of them.
