Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color with stereo English audio. It sounded a bit hollow at times with the music set a bit high but otherwise the audio wasn't much of a problem. The picture was actually pretty weak and the dvd transfer was not the best (thankfully Vivid has been working on improving this type of issue in more recent releases). The picture was often faded or grainy with video noise problems throughout and compression artifacts a regular event.

Body of Review: Vivid Interactive makes a lot of compilations these days and for good reason; they don't have to pay the performers and crew and they have a large catalog of titles with which to work. If they want to provide fans with a compilation for a past contract performer, all they need to do is get someone to edit out a few scenes and set up a basic compilation, the same holds true if they want a bunch of blondes or lesbian sex. This said, a lot of fans currently like anal sex, at least that is what we're told by the marketing geniuses that will next tell straight men that gay sex is the next logical step in this never ending procession of more extreme forms of sex. If you like anal sex scenes with women though, Vivid has a new compilation for you, Rearview: Lori Michaels.

The show has ten anal scenes in the feature itself and a couple bonus scenes with Lori Michaels in them but buyer beware if you think Lori is in most of the scenes here. The fact of the matter is, she is only in a few of them. If you're buying this compilation because you're a fan of the curvy cutie herself, you'll do better to go check out Lori Michaels Uncensored. Granted, this is an older compilation and you'll find it priced very cheaply all over the place but the fact remains that nowhere on the DVD cover does it suggest that Ms. Michaels is in a few scenes only.

Lori Michaels was a contract performer for Vivid in the mid 1990's and seemed to enjoy all forms of sex. From lesbian to straight and even anal, the gal could get a guy to drop a major load when she was willing to display her many talents. I'm not going to outline each scene this time since the basic idea of anal sex was in each scene and all the cast information is listed above for you but suffice it to say, if you're getting this compilation solely to see Lori in anal action, you'll want to Skip It. If, on the other hand, you don't mind who you see having anal sex (and most of the gals here, like TJ Hart, looked great in action), you may want to check this out as a rental. Bear in mind that many of the scenes have been in other Vivid compilations and the newer releases tend to have better technical values as well as seem more focused on the themes at hand.

Summary: The show wasn't a bad one but the technical limitations along with the lack of focus on Lori's scenes made me think most of you could do better elsewhere. Anal sex is not a strong point in Vivid's movies and their contract performers tend(ed) to avoid it at all costs in most cases. This means you'd do better looking for a gonzo company to provide your hardest core needs.
