The Feature:
"Paying the Piper" is the story of peasant women who are tired of the disrespectful men in their town. Raylene comes to their town, and makes an agreement with the women to teach the guys a lesson or two. This movie isn't that bad actually. The acting isn't over the top cheesy, and it's actually filmed with some style. But still, if I want good dialogue with a porno setting, I'll pop in "Boogie Nights." In an ironic twist, I just realized that "Boogie Nights" was directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, while "Paying the Piper" was written/directed by Paul Thomas. Strange, right? And now, it's "Kleenex Scale" time.

The "Kleenex Scale" is done on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being a strong scene, and 1 being a limp one. The main feature consists of 5 scenes with a total running time of around 80 minutes. Here are the scene breakdowns:

Scene #1 – Guy and a girl
The girl hands from a beam, and he gives her oral for a minute or two. She blows him for a little while, and they go into doggy style. Reverse cowgirl, and then a facial for her. Okay scene, but lots of the sex seem edited out.

Scene #2 – Guy and a girl
While they both stand, he grinds his penis into her vaginal lips. They go into a 69 position where she almost chokes on his penis while he fingers her. What started out really good, turned into a massive grossout for me.

Scene #5 – Various Raylene/guy scenes
This scene cuts between scenes of Raylene giving oral/having sex with two different guys. She gives them both oral, does an impressive cowgirl, missionary, and doggy. The strange editing makes me believe that this is trying to be a movie first, and a porno second.

Video:
The full-frame 1.33:1 presentation looks pretty good. There are instances of grain and artifacting present. The picture is very soft at times, but that's because that's the way it was filmed.

Audio:
A 2.0 soundtrack sounds very clean. Bad dialogue, moans, thrusts, slaps, and background sound all sound very good. Though, like I always say, are you really buying the DVD for the audio?

Menus:
Interactive menus with digitized porn music looping over and over again. Everything is easily accessible.

Extras:
Wow, lots of bonus Raylene scenes on this DVD. There are 5 in total. The first has Raylene and another girl taking on four guys at once. Lots of action here including Raylene getting a facial from four guys at once. Next is a three way with three other girls. Although short, they do make good use out of some toys. The third scene is another three-way, with Devon and another girl. Lots of aggressive action here, and they're way into it. The fourth scene is Raylene and a guy. Pretty average scene, covering all the usual bases (oral, bj, doggy, anal). The fifth scene doesn't involve Raylene, but two hot blondes and a guy. One masturbates while the other has sex with the guy.

A bonus room is also present. Included there is a "Raylene Gallery", "Dasha Gallery" a "Behind the Scenes" Featurette, as well as "Outtakes and Bloopers." There are additional features including previews, phone sex commercials, on the set with vivid, and more.

Final Thoughts:
This is a pretty good DVD. If you're a fan of Raylene, you'll be more than happy with it. Trust me, I've seen lots of bad porn DVDs, and this certainly isn't one of them. I'll "Recommend" it.
