Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, the long-time industry standard. The picture had some minor issues with grain and video noise as well as lighting but I stopped noticing pretty quickly due to the action taking place. I'd have preferred better on all these accounts but the heat was often good enough to cover for it. I didn't see a lot of compression artifacts but some were present, however rarely. The audio was presented in 2.0 stereo English but sounded monaural with no real separation between the channels. The vocals were also somewhat hollow but once they started moaning and groaning, it didn't seem as big a problem.

Body of Review: Lesbian movies have fallen from favor in recent years as companies have tried to push the more extreme forms of sex, commonly referred to as circus act sex, and gonzo productions. This often means that consumers who enjoy a good lesbian outing have to look at older works, especially ones just being released on DVD, for their pleasure. While some directors are still geared towards such shoots, like porn historian Jim Holliday, most find the lack of variety among such scenes difficult to shoot. The reasons they've given me almost all boil down to the difficulty in doing something not done before. I try to explain that if the women are really into it, the same old formulas they use for more mainstream porn works for lesbian porn. Anabolic's series for lesbian action is the well known Nasty Girls and the latest volume from their back catalog to be released is Nasty Girls 27. The series offers a host of porn stars in lesbian scenes from before they were at the top of the heap without any of the plot or dialogue that offend so many reviewers. Scene One: Kim, a cute blonde wearing a pink outfit, and Raylin, a busty gal wearing a black patterned bra and panty combo, talked about where they met as they hung out on a couch. Both gals were curvy and not going to be confused with the anorexic waifs shown all too often in the barely of age videos. They seemed comfortable with one another as they started to play and that added to the fun of the scene but foot fetish fans will like that they spent some time on feet too. They then licked each other out before utilizing a vibrator to get off with. I believe that Raylin got off and possibly Kim in this warm scene.

Scene Two: Nikki, a gal that looked like a leaner Monica Lewinsky, and Pantera, a bleached blonde with afar leaner figure, initially talked about how they were going to get one another off on camera. They then set out to prove it with Nikki sucking her friend's breasts between some tender kisses. Pantera massaged Nikki's ample ass and licked a bit herself but Nikki was the first to go down on the other. They each did a lot of that before the toys came into play. While there was admittedly a lot of fake moaning going on, I think they had fun with one another in the scene.

Scene Three: Aimee, a lean brunette, and her two blondish pals, Juliana and Ashley, had their scene on the infamous lesbian couch next. They had an interview where each discussed their past and desire to work with one another. Aimee will appeal to fans that like very young looking gals and the other two will appeal to men that appreciate a bit more wear and tear on their women. They followed the same formula that the others did; licking, rubbing and use of toys, but did so with smiles and laughing much of the time. There was no doubt in my mind that they had fun together and Aimee easily got off a few times (the others were tougher to judge since they seemed better at faking it).

Scene Four: Michelle, a bleach blond that admitted she's a mutt, and Gia, a redhead that claimed a Danish and Dutch background, had a scene in a warehouse after discussing a scene where Gia peed her pants (on purpose) for another company. Michelle is probably better known for her work at Vivid but seemed right at home here with her new friend as the two got busy on a couch. They licked one another and spent time getting intimate with one another's pussies. While I think they pulled out the vibrator and toys too quickly, each seemed comfortable using them on their partner, perhaps a little too comfortable if you catch my drift. In any case, this was a better scene than I've seen them in before as they shared some chemistry and heat together.

Scene Five: Malorie (called Mimi here), a dark haired cutey, and Cassey, a blonde with nice breasts, had the final scene of the day. Each had a few things to say in their interview but neither was a chatty Cathy and the action started soon into the scene. They each spent a lot of time with one another's breasts and then went down on their partner, something I can't blame them for since each gal looked rather tasty. Cassey ate Malorie first, spreading the folds and licking more than just the clitoris, which worked for her friend since she kept wiggling about as if on fire. They then used some toys with Cassey taking a blue vibrator first. Each gal got some toy loving though and I thought the anal would start next but they backed down before going too deeply there. These two kept at each other as the credits rolled and I wish the director had kept shooting their scene.

Summary: The heat and chemistry were more consistent then in Volume 24, so I increased the rating to Recommended since the cast was universally having fun, seemed to enjoy the concept and were all attractive in some way or another. It wasn't the perfect lesbian outing but it was pretty solid and enjoyable to watch with plenty of replay value. If the extras had been better, I'd have bumped up the rating since there was so much fuck for the buck going on in this DVD.
